Westgate Gardens Care Center

Had a client living here for many years. She was always treated with dignity and respect. Every time I would go visit they had some kind of function or activity going on for their residents. The front and back off staff were always kind, and informative.

I am just amazed at the heart of those at Westgate Gardens. Navigating care at a large facility is not easy. But, people that care are the driving force at this wonderful facility. Today, Jamie Mudford, in the business office made time to explain how best to deal with a situation that was quickly resolved. She was tremendous! She then escorted me to Alex Lopez, EVS Supervisor, who very quickly fixed a situation with a deft touch. I think this place is the best.

I have had probably the best experience ever at Westgate. I cannot get over how the staff are helpful and how they you know to take care of your needs and they just are amazing. I've been in a lot of rehab facilities here in town, and this one is just amazing at some hands and above some of the others that I can too I would highly recommend it and if I need rehab again for physical therapy or anything, then I absolutely want to recommend Westgate Gardens excellent excellent careArthaleneRCoulter

This place is horrid. My folks just got out and we are relieved. They were constantly talked down to. Workers would insist that my father should just "go in his brief" because changing a diaper took less time than helping him to the restroom. My mother was treated as a visitor not a patient. My dads room would be made up while my mom's would be ignored. Food is despicable, rice with every meal. They would wake up my mom late in the evening for a shower and if she refused they responded with, "ok, no shower again for 3 weeks." They treat you like you are senile even if you are not.Run away!

I'D LIKE TO POINT OUT THIS FACILITY HAS REVIEWS FROM THEIR OWN EMPLOYEES, MAJOR CONFLICT IF INTEREST. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND READ THE REAL REVIEWS.....I could give no stars, I would. So that's the only reason I have given them one star. I have worked as a CNA in the past and this is by far the worst facility I have ever seen. My mother whom is not able to walk was here for PT, I was told that she needed close supervision. She was left in her wheelchair roaming the halls without any type of preventative taken to ensure she wouldn't fall out. While attempting to navigate herself she fell out face first, my mother is prone to fractures due to an illness. When I asked if and why xrays were not not the nurses became very short, rude and stay as tight lipped as possible. The facility said a doctor physically examined her and said she was fine. Later, we as in my family contacted an ambulance and had her transported to the ER because she needed xrays. End result my mother has two black eyes, a nasal fracture, hematoma on her forehead and a fracture C2. Needless to say my mother will not be returning to this negligent facility. Also beware of Benjamin Carter's reviews on this facility, he is the administrator.

My 84 yr old mother arrived this past Thursday nite, (Feb 8, 2018) we brought her own Cpap machine along with her Distilled water, (Sealed jugs) by Sun morning I looked down at the water and noticed that the jugs seals were never broken!?! So basically Mom never received her CPAP for the first 3 nights b/c the CNA left the decision up to an 84 yr old woman who doesn't remember what day it is or what she had for dinner!?!? Too lazy to call the POA up.....(daughter) would rather do nothing all niteOn Admission I was given a list of Meds that Mom would be given during her stay, Blood thinner was NOT on it, I find out 5 days into her stay that they have been giving her blood thinners for the past 5!!!! Days She was discharged from the hospital with a bleeding ulcer, with specific orders to DC her blood thinners for 4 WEEKS!!!!! I immediately called 911; and got her out of this H-ll hole...... if you Love your parents ....and I repeat, if you love and care about seeing your parents live DO NOT place them in this Place.....The CNA"s are the most unprofessional I've ever seen, I could go on and on.

I was a patient at Westgate Gardens for a month after a hospital stay. The CNAs Nala , Gina, Infinity, Ene and others as well as Mae the RN gave me excellent care. They went above and beyond to do the extra care that makes a stay in a nursing facility more than bearable, it was actually enjoyable. The professionalism with which they do their jobs was obvious and greatly appreciated. Thank you to those who took care of me during my stay. A special thank you to those mentioned.

I applied and worked there a few days and I should have known the moment I stepped in. Jennifer and Rosa and "Q"HR team are awesome but some of the the nurses and AM cna are super rude and unprofessional Like literally unprofessional. The moment they step in building.. anywho I volunteer to resign because I didn't feel comfortable nor safe to work there. Just a total weird vibe. Its a bunch of High School Drama and ghetto BBL, fake nails looking.. And if you know you know.

The staff is great, they work as a team and friendly. I am a nurse there and I believe this is the best place to work. I have seen many people come in, get therapy. Then they go home happy

My grandmother had surgery and was completed non ambulatory. She was transferred to this facility where she was basically neglected. She started getting bed sores on her bottom as well as underneath her chest. Her hands were very weak and she struggled to feed herself. She is a dialysis patient and the same gauze/bandages were left on for several days. We took her plenty of clothes and she would be dressed in somebody else's clothes that did not fit her. Her neck brace was extremely dirty as well. Staff was very unprofessional; we would call, they would tell us they would have her call us back and hang up very rudely and never call back. We decided to finally bring her home and even her dialysis staff advised us to do so as they noticed she was not being treated properly. Pictures were taken and reports have also been made. I definitely do not recommend this place.
