Very untrustworthy and shady store! Heads up buyers, take pictures of tags and furniture and make sure they put the right quantity on sale's note. I found a 6 stools and table dining at the store. It said on the ad that it was 7 pieces and was on sale because it was the last one. When I paid for it the girl told me to see for scratches or anything wrong with it because it was final sale for being the last one, so I did. What I didn't do was taking a picture of the ad or tag saying the quantity of pieces and on my sale's note the girl just wrote 1 table 1 stool. When the delivery man came he just brought 4 stools so I asked him and he said they just put 4 on his note, so I called the store and they told me to come over to see what they could do for me. Today I went and I actually found the two stools I am missing. I spoke with a sale's person and a very rude old lady from the area you are charged and they didn't want to give them to me because someone wrote with a black pen 4 stools after the transaction was made. Although the note said "As it is" and there were 6 stools and a table, a black pen number is more credible than a customer. They were very quick to offer to sell them to me tho. Why would I pay for someone I paid already once? This was the second time I bought from Weatherby's and for sure the las time.

Got a good deal on a chaser couch but the timeline to get it and being updated on delivery time is horrible. I ordered the couch first week of December and was told that the couch would be delivered by mid January. Come January 17th I called twice and confirmed my cell phone number and was told I'd get a call back. After a week I never got a call back, once I did reach someone they said they've been calling me several times but they called wrong number, that was even after I confirmed my cell phone number when I called. When asking what the delay is, they said that now my couch won't get deliver till mid-late February. In my opinion, the lack of updating me and timeline to wait is unacceptable and poor customer service.

I have bought a few furniture pieces from here all great quality. I recommend Gena. She was great help. She took her time with us gave us options since They didn't have what i was looking for on the floor, she gave us the option to look at the catalog for more variety. Found what i was looking for with a reasonable price.

The staff at Weatherby's are the best, especially Rolph. Had trouble finding just the right sofa set and they patiently helped me for a week. I had purchased a set that was too large for the room and they said no problem, pick something else out! How great is that? They truly want you to be happy with your purchase. Now we have a great sofa and loveseat set and we could not be happier. Thanks!

WARNING WARNING WARNING! On 11/7/2014 I purchased 2 recliners (All American Brand) from Weatherby's Furniture at 620 Chester, Bakersfield, for $699.95 each. I had some reservations about the pulley system that operated the reclining on these chairs. Asked the salesgirl (employee ID B-11) about the warranty, she said she didn't know and would check with her manager. She disappeared and then came back and told us they had a 3 year parts and labor warranty, so that reassured us. After 2 years and 3 months of course 1 of the chairs failed. My wife spoke to Evelyn in the office at the store who quoted the warranty was 90 days labor and 1 year parts. So either the salesgirl flat out lied or the manager lied or both. So take it from someone who knows- find another furniture dealer. TOTALLY cheated 2 old school senior citizens who believed a persons word was truth.

A big FAT 0 if I could!!! NEVER order from a catalog!!! What's more important here!! The MONEY or a customer coming back for more!! THE MONEY HUNGRY STORE!! We order an expensive table from them in October and they said we would get by January!! Then they said february,which we where ok with that, chairs are white and got delivered dark from handprints from the delivery guys!!! Three chairs where damage and it's taking them almost 5 months to replace them!!!! PEOPLE if you don't want a bad experience don't buy from here, you'll be happy somewhere else!! They NEED a new change, PEOPLE THAT CARE FOR WHAT THEY DO, NOT WHAT THEY KNOW CAUSE THEY DO IT EVERYDAY! Hate that!! And if we ask for a manager get me a manager, not a fake one!!! They pitch sub par deals on couches, then they also pitch the warranty and how they have people in Los Angeles that come down to fix there cheap built furniture. Well, I had so much issues with leather couches I purchased there. I would call because of bad stitching and brackets always breaking apart. They take so long to send someone so the warranty period runs out. They had some nerve to send the sales guy that sold me couches to begin with to sew and fix couches, stitching was horrible came apart a week later. All of a sudden my warranty expired and here I am stuck with cheap and underbuilt couches. Stay far away from this place, they promise sunshine and great service and lie to your face.

I completely regret purchasing a sofa set here, I, for whatever reason, forgot to look at yelp first but now that I've purchased something from this TERRIBLE business I see why they have bad reviews on Yelp and Google. However, at the time I thought it would be best to buy local.First off, when the sofas were delivered one of the sofas already had some chips and tears. called about that and if you want fast service, well good luck with that. They take days to get back to you and that's if you take the time to harass them. Then 3 DAYS after initially getting the set, our sofa was already sinking, long story short they tried feeding me some bull about that being normal; um no. After essentially losing my sh*t on them they agreed to replace the cushions. This took over a month of calling and arguing.I got my sofas months ago, they're starting to sink again and they were not cheap (price wise anyways). I bought the rest of my furniture online and other places instead because of their terrible service and overpriced furniture. My mother bought sofas from an online site and she's had hers a while now, have they started to sink? No and they were cheaper. Lesson learned. Wouldn't recommend this place to my worse enemy.
