WalMart Delano

The reason why I'm giving this Walmart in Delano 5 stars is because - FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!! Delano has a Walmart. It's been a long time coming. It's located in a good area. Right next to a ton of other stores.

Try calling this store sometime. Not a single department or the operator will answer.

Happy they put more self check out sections with the scanning gun, and the online order pickup.The palm trees need to me cut they hit the cars when you drive through them.There's always shopping carts in parking spaces.

Went today and bought a body spray there. Person in charge was super rude and thought we were stealing and started looking at us through the cameras . Didn't let us pay in the self checkout . Her name was Adriana and had a tattoo on her hand. Horrible Customer Service .

I really like how Delano WalMmart has stepped up their game. Although face mask are mandatory Walmart is insuring that everyone entering the store and while shopping you have your mask on. This is the only way we will help flatten the Covid19 curve. Hopefully we can start reopening and stay open. GREAT JOB WALMART

What can I say? I'm from Delano... any time my mom needs something from here I try my best to avoid this place, but if mama says she needs to go, then I have to bring mama. Amazingly, this Walmart seems to be a little bigger than all the ones in Bakersfield. I love Walmart, but not all Walmart's are created equally and unfortunately the bad apple is located in my hometown. This Walmart happens to be the newest biggest thing in Delano and is not even in competition with Kmart, because there's rumors that Kmart will be closing soon.I truly hate to rate Walmart 1 star, but the store is a hot mess. I have been to this store several times and I have thought to myself, maybe it's just an off day, but coming here several times now and it's still a hot mess. There's a bunch of young kids/adults working here with bad work ethics and don't get me wrong, there are some hardworking ones, but unfortunately the lazies outweighs the hardworking people. How can we tell? Hmmmmm, maybe because carts are all over the place, items are thrown in other aisles that don't belong there, it's just hectic. Workers don't smile, which leads me to think they are not happy. Happy workers are hard workers and if they aren't happy... well...I'm a Walmart fan so I hope Delano gets it together because I read a bunch of other reviews and a lot of the negative reviews are similar. When it's 2 negative reviews, to me that's an opinion. When there are multiple negative reviews, then to me that's a trend.On a positive note, I believe this Walmart is here to stay. Parking is not an issue as it's a huge parking lot and they have the same items here just like every other Walmart. It's in close vicinity to other businesses and is in an okay location because the people that live on the other side of town near Kmart doesn't wanna travel this far out, so you'll have your loyal Walmart shoppers come out of their way to shop at Walmart.

I wanted to get something from inside the glass and I waited 2 hours and they told me it was going to be a long wait and because they didn't have the key to unlock I waited but they still didn't attend me. also, I heard 2 of them saying they didn't want to attend me because of how I look.Definitely not coming back

This Walmart has to be one of the worst in the Central Valley, customer service is down right awful.

The lady in jewlery is super helpful with answering any questions and had really fast customer service!

I love this place! I often place online pick up orders, and my orders are always accurate, ready on time, and brought to my car by associates who are friendly and upbeat! I can purchase groceries anywhere, but I continue to use this particular Walmart store because I appreciate their great service!
