Fun hole in the wall. Staff is laid back and you can tell it's a bunch of regulars. Nice to get away from the downtown scene.

I have worked here for the past 5 years and I love the patrons and the people I work for. It's worth the drive any area you are from.... love this place..

Very comfortable atmosphere with great bar tending and food n drinks. I have to add that service krista is amazing, she knew everything about what a girl girl needs sto feel the moment # peanut butter whiskey and cranberry.. amazing

What can you say about Vi's? Just drop by and have a good time. Drinks are cheap, people are friendly, and I really mean that. We've sat at the bar and both times people have said hello before we did. I even played a game of pool against myself...And Lost!...

I came from out of town for Xmas to visit my dad, uncle, and grandma. I decided to go out to this nearby bar for a few drinks and not too long after I got there. The bar tender accused me of seeing a vape (not even vaping). I can't physically do this because I have a condition. When I laughed and told her this she quickly told me I had to leave because she didn't like the way I responded, and had a local bar guy who said he was the bouncer kick me out. I've never faced this kind of weird discrimination in my life. I'm thinking it's just because maybe I wasn't local , but I'll never really know. I only had a few drinks, it would have easier to say I was too drunk or something but I wasn't. They just wanted to find a reason to kick me out obviously. Don't come here unless you know people or the staff I guess or else you'll get treated like you're not even human. I'm so disturbed by this experience. It was wrong in so many ways. This place literally doesn't deserve business from anyone if they think they can just treat a person like that. Just another bar crew abusing power and discriminating whoever they want for whatever reason they want.

Vi's is a NW Bakersfield hidden gem. Great drinks, great place to people watch, great service....what's not to like? Highly recommend this place.

The best local bar I have ever been too in Bakersfield. Every bartender makes you feel at home, the drinks are always good, and the atmosphere is wonderful. My favorite bar in Bakersfield.
