Vincent Hill Station Restaurant & Saloon

My friends and I just made a morning rest stop at Vincent Hill Station restaurant for the very first time. To be quite honest, we didn't really have high expectations from the ratings and reviews. This place really blew our mind with food quality and service. My friend and I split the BLT and Breakfast burrito. A few other friends had the house soup along with a round of drip coffee. Besides the great food and service, this restaurant has the decor and ambiance of a nice vintage lounge. We can't wait to be back and again, I really don't understand the negative feedback. ROACHES!!! AND Your quality of food went downhill. Vincent Downhill Saloon What happened to you recently Vincent Hill Restaurant? This was me and my boyfriend's go-to spot for the best fried snacks mozz sticks, tenders, beer battered onions rings, and hamburgers, and buffalo chicken sandwiches. Well not sure when you changed your chef or quality in the last month but we last ordered in October it was great homemade quality, now in feb 2025 we ordered our usual we always ordered and for some reason it came out to $90! And on top of that was COMPLETELY different quality and completely different food than we expected. We should've brought it back for a refund but we waited two hours for our to- go order of food by that point our day was gone we wanted to just leave already. The hamburgers we got were worse than dennys. And we hate dennys.The tenders and mozz sticks were not at all big and homemade like they used to be they were straight up freezer burned foster farm cheap freezer food. The onion rings were no longer beer battered they were just gross basic freezer crumbs onion rings. Jack in the box would've been better than these. Better off getting all our fried snacks and burgers from Mel's in Hollywood for better quality worth the long drive for a date night. Did you lose your chef or something and resort to freezer food? But still charging premium prices wow.Unfortunately we will never return here for food because we wish we had our $90 back. We are pretty disappointed about this. It doesn't help that the place is soooo boring and even the same bands that play only play cover songs cuz they don't want to take chances on new bands with original songs and the staff have such bad attitudes. Horrible service every time enough is enough. You changed Vincent hill. You're not quality experience anymore. There's no reason to come here anymore. This used to be our weekly hang out spot but now it has roaches at night you can't even eat or dance outside without getting attacked by roaches! The roaches are not afraid of people and will literally land on your table and on your food. The staff does nothing to help control it. Don't expect refund if it happens to you. I am surprised I even ordered food after these experiences and still gave the chances after chances. Never again will I get ripped off by you. Goodbye Vincent Downhill Saloon

Came in with a fairly large group and we were able to be accommodated straight away. I have fairly extensive allergies and I was pleased that the waitstaff were able to advise me as to what I could and couldn't eat. Even with my allergies, I was able to the accommodated. The steak, veggies, and potatoes were good. Would return.

Great service from Ash. Love the history of this place and the area. We ate in the dining room. I had the chicken piccata with mashed potatoes, veggies and French onion soup. Extremely good option. The chicken was perfect with the right amount of lemony caper sauce. The Hubbs had an order of the angel hair pasta and the mushroom burger. We share everything and dang it was good. He asked for extra crispy fries and they were perfect. The specialty cocktails were lovely. Highly recommend this place - a little pricey but worth it.

The BEST Buffalo chicken sandwich I've ever had. Chicken was tender and the Buffalo sauce had a great kick to it but it wasn't overly spicy. Didn't expect to ever eat here because we're not out in that area often and it's not like a giant blinking sign off the freeway, but it's in my opinion a place you must stop at if you're in the area. Absolutely a hidden gem. An enjoyable time, was very quiet inside. Servers were polite. If we weren't so tired, we probably would've walked around the interior more and honestly I wish we had.

Originally being from the Antelope Valley, I had always heard of this place but never made the trip out to visit it. Not until this past week when my mom wanted to have her birthday dinner there so she could watch one of her favorite local musicians. I wasn't sure what to expect as we drove into the dark desert but was pleasantly surprised when we arrived.We were greeted by our friendly host who walked us to our table that was reserved. I dressed up a bit but quickly learned this place a little more of a laid back feeling to it. Our waitress quickly greeted us and took our food/drink orders. She was very helpful and I would love to be seated with her the next time we are there. The food was delicious! I highly recommend getting the garlic bread. Save a little of it to dip in your entrees. The Angel Hair Pasta had lots of flavor but didn't feel heavy on the stomach. I would get this again. Not many vegetarian options to choose from here. I didn't try it but other people in our group also really enjoyed the French onion soup. We just went for dinner but this place also has a really great outdoor dance floor where a band was setting up to play. I have heard they do lots of events and parties here. I want to come back and check these events out! If you live in the AV or LA, this place is worth making the trip out to!

Came here Sunday night at 5:30. Was seated and told she would come back with kids menus since we had two kids with us. We waited and waited and waited some more . She never came back, never came for our drinks, never said hello. People came in after us and they were greeted and had their order taken while we continued to wait. We left.

HORRIBLE SERVICE AND EXPERIENCE!!! We finally Walked out! Sad because this used to be a place we frequented and referred. Not now! Had a reservation. Sat 30 mins after reservation time and had to choose seating in a room with extremely Loud jazz music OR loud rock band on patio with cold winds every time people walked in and out; just didn't seem very intimate for a Valentine dinner. Out of steak dinners and garlic bread. We ordered other items, but Horrible waiter. He took over 35 mins to acknowledge us and bring us waters. He kept disappearing in the back. We finally ordered and I asked him for a straw. He disappeared again. I had to ask an obviously busy waitress for a straw, who returned within 2 minutes of me asking her. It took Over 35 mins and we finally received our PLAIN salad....LETTUCE ONLY...no tomatoes, croutons, onions etc. So why did it take so long??? The Thousand Island dressing was disgusting and did not taste like Thousand Island but I was so hungry, I ate it anyway. Chef talking to the very upset customers at the table next to us, apologizing for their poor service due to owners being ill prepared for the busy Valentine's evening and another chef calling out. He comped their meals. Earlier I saw that same chef apologizing to other tables. What about us? No one took the time to apologize or make amends with us for the same experience. Restaurant was cleared out and again, waiter disappearing, acting like he was busy and just kept making excuses. Other waitresses and hostesses were servicing their customers and working very hard on a very busy night, so I didn't believe our waiter. Not to mention the food on the table next to us looked unappetizing so we finally walked out. ZERO STARS IF I COULD. Went to Outback...exceptional service and good food! We gave a huge tip to the waitress.

So sad to report the service and food was a joke which was a shame as it was good vibes and music live band was infectious. Have no expectation of proper service or of food having any tatste. I ordered a filet miaon and was told they had no steak so understanding this I ordered the lamb chops . Came back to be advised that with out consent or knowledge the bartender Mary took it upon herself to order the pork chops for me without me being aware. Terrible dry with no flavor the whole dish 53 dollars a complete rip off. A shame good environment vibe and music great and fun.

food had no flavor, which was the pork chop plate, service was really bad, ordered southwestern egg rolls they brought them to me 1 hr later, music was nice. Service was bad.
