Went here to try out the only Vietnamese restaurant in town. Lots of parking available, it shares parking with other businesses on a large parking lot. Restaurant is small. Maybe about 10 booths total. Upon entering, we were not greeted, matter of fact no one was at the front. We seated ourselves and waited. It's kinda the norm to seat yourself in small mom and pops restaurant. I looked around three other tables were occupied was also waiting for service. After 20 minutes I walk up to the front and said "HELLO? Can I get some help out here?" No reply. I sat back down. An older man finally pop out from the kitchen and took our order. Every thing I order was NOT available or no longer on the menu. Like wtf? The old man said half of the menu is not doing well, nobody orders it, so they no longer serve it. They seriously need to revamp the menu because this caused a lot of frustration going down the menu and it was NO, we don't have that. Even the drinks were severely limited. I wanted the dry vermicelli noodles with shrimp and pork. He said the table across from me order the last one. I ended up ordering a rice dish with grilled pork. My friend ordered pho. My dish came out oddly fast. The food did not look fresh. Pork chop was old and tough. It was not good. My veggies on the side look like it sat out in the open air too long and dried up no moisture left. I am so disappointed. The table across ordered the dry vermicelli noodle, it came out strangely arranged on a plate! I have NEVER seen vermicelli served on a plate with all the ingredients separated on the plate. The correct way of eating this Bun Tom thit nhung (I know I misspelled the words) is to serve it in a large bowl with all the ingredients mixed together. It's the only and traditional way how to eat it. The serving was half the size it's suppose to be! My friend's pho broth was on the darker side. It depends on what region, the pho broth can be lighter/clear or a darker broth. I didn't taste my friend's pho. I couldn't tell you anything about it. She said it was okay. The restaurant is the typical mom and pop. It's dingy and dirty. I believe it's just the old man and the cook who was out front taking a cigarette break earlier which was why we were all waiting for service. The old man clears and clean the tables, takes your order, rings up the order, answer the phone and runs in back to help the cook. They seriously need more help. The bathroom was kinda gross. The old man often disappeared in the back and we had to painfully wait until he reappear to pay for our dinner. So the thing is, when you dine here you seat yourself and when you pay you pay at the counter. Be prepared to wait for a long amount of time to get service of any kind. Be patience. They won't come around once you receive your food. This is the only Vietnamese restaurant in this city so it's kinda weird they lack in everything. I don't know how they stay in business like this. I wont return. It wouldn't be so bad if the food was amazing and worth the wait but unfortunately it's terrible all around. I love supporting local business but this ain't it.

Been looking for a good pho place in the AV. And this was not it. First of all the prices on the pictures posted are not correct, they are in fact double that price. My pho was 16+ bux. And its not worth it. Second, not worth the 16 bux cuz the broth sucked! It was strangely sweet, never had pho with a sweet broth and the basil and veggies we got were wilted. The lime looked old and they only gave us one slice of lime for 2 orders. It was all in one bag. It would have been cleaner or nicer if each order had their own.. or you want to add it all in one bag, at least provide fresh non wilted veggies and more lime! Also give out chili sauce not just siracha!Lastly, lil old guy was quite rude, I paid almost 40 bux for 2 soups and it almost felt like I was bugging him when I picked up my order. Bonus: it has a B Not worth it. Dont do it!

It's been a while since we last visited this little Vietnamese joint in Palmdale, and this afternoon (8/05/2024) we were held up at appts and missed lunch. We had more errands to run and were feeing a little peckish, so since we weren't too far away decided to go in and have a "snack" to tide us over until dinner. We were greeted by a guy who was a little shy.. he doesn't speak much English and I speak even less Vietnamese, but he was kind and got the owner to come out. We were welcomed again, seated and given menus to peruse. The place is cute, there's a golden Buddha in the entrance and the tables are well spaced. The decor is simple and for a small, family run Vietnamese restaurant, it was immaculate! Word to the other Yelper who tried to blame a cockroach in her take out meal trying to extort a free meal from him. I understand she told him "comp my meal or I'll call the health dept". OK, so the free meal would make the cockroach issue OK for you? I think someone was trying to get something for nothing and may need to look in her own car or home before casting dispersions, but I digress. We decided to get an order of Chá Gió (friend egg rolls) and an order of Spring Rolls. The house made Nuoc Cham dipping sauce absolutely stands up to our favorite place down in the SFV. Well seasoned, freshly minced garlic and just enough chili for flavor, but doesn't bring the pain. The egg rolls were delicious, the pork filling is well seasoned. They don't serve with the basil and other herbs used to, but he said that it goes to waste there because locals don't seem to eat it. Not a game changer. We still enjoyed it! The Spring Rolls were pretty, well presented and the peanut dipping sauce is good, too. If I had to choose between them, I'm leaning towards the Fried Egg Rolls, though. We can't wait to go back for a full meal and try their many Pho dishes, or their Bun Vermicelli bowls. I see comments that the owner is a grouch.. but just engage him. Chat him up! He's really quite friendly and we had the nicest conversation with him. The business has been struggling, and the recent closure for several weeks due to structural issues while waiting for the landlord to fix electrical systems just poured salt into the wound. They need some foot traffic! If you need some yummy Vietnamese food to put into your face, this is a marriage waiting to happen! Please, go visit them and make friends. Enjoy some good food and hopefully we can keep this place here in the AV! The next closest place for me is all the way in the SFV and I want an option that's close to home.

So delicious! I ordered a small #26 and spring rolls, all the food was so good and they brought it out quick, the waiter was very nice. It's a decent size inside a little misleading from outside but overall amazing! Definitely coming back!

I have no idea how this place got an A! 0 stars First off when I walked inside and sat down I heard coughing from the kitchen. When I turned around i saw a man behind the counter had one finger holding a nostril as he blew from the other into the trash ( wtf ) , next I heard more coughing and blowing his nose the same way repeatedly. After sitting there listening longer than we should have..., we told them and left. My partner said can you believe he asked if we paid ! Are you kidding me I couldn't stick around anymore to even receive my food I was so grossed out. I never once heard him wash his hands after doing this and saw him touching what was going to be my lunch! Never again will I go here .... Oh I also went into the bathroom to wash my hands before I eat , and there was no soap. Surprise... Surprise...

I have to say as the food is tasty and delicious, they should offer the sides such as basil, bean sprouts, etc... even if they state that most customers don't use? Then buy less. There's a Filipino mart just down the street. Buy a little bit for those who do enjoy the trimmings! You charge the same amount for the restaurants that DO offer it! Be fare and care. This is why I would drive further for better service and quality. Try to be fare.

Hygiene is what did this restaurant in for me. I ordered the vermicelli plate with pork and egg rolls, spring rolls with pork and an iced Thai tea.I decided to transfer everything into an another bowl at home, when I found a live roach in the fresh vegetables. Without knowing if the roach touched anything else while I took my food home - I decided to toss everything as a precaution.
