Verdugo Market #6

Was in here a few days ago to buy two drinks and two burritos. The so called employee who was impersonating the cashier was on his cell phone, making me and two other customers wait while he wastes our time with his phone call. My drinks and burritos totaled $7.13. I gave the moron $7.25 cash. You don't have to major in math to know the change is 12 cents. This guy made me wait at least three minutes, maybe five minutes, seemed like more.If this so called employee cannot talk on the phone and sell items at this store, then perhaps he should just try selling the products that the store offers. Not everyone can multi-task. We as customers do not go into this store to spend our money expecting to be delayed unnecessarily by someone's phone call. Just food for thought, would this behavior have been acceptable had I been the one holding up the line with a phone call, and taking up other customer's time? I seriously doubt it, and there were two other customers behind me, also being stalled out by this "employee". His "take it or leave it" brand of customer service makes my choice easy- I will not take it, from now on I will leave this place off my list of stores to buy drinks and snacks.

They have a great selection here , they even have specialty items here's it's always worth a browse .

UPDATE: They let people into the store without masks despite there being a clear sign on the door saying it is required. Even worse, the employees themselves don't wear masks.

This market has a wide selection of beer including selections from Lengthwise Brewery and Kern River Brewing Company. Great selection of IPAs. Good selection of snacks. They carry wine and liquor as well. I frequent this market because of the fab selection and friendly customer service. The counter help remembers me when I come in and always delivers service with a smile! Keep it up!

This liquor store is not customer friendly. The two men working behind the counter were not helpful when my husband ask for their help so he purchased 4 can of what he thought I would like well I didn't so we turned right around and took the 3 unopened cans back with a receipt ( the men recognized my husband ) he had just left their store This time I picked my own drink and I wanted credit for the 3 unopened cans that I returned They refused ! Once you walk out of store That's it ! This place has higher prices then most stores around them !

Late night, out of town customer. Found this well lit, clean and friendly store. Very consciencious staff.

Best store in my area. I have 2 stores right next to were I live but I rather go 3 blocks to Oak Market. Best prices on beer and liquor. But also great customer service.

Great little market! Amazing selection of craft beer! right next to pizzaville so you can grab a pie and a case or bottle of your favorite beverage! very friendly staff!

I have lived a short walk from this liquor store for 15 + years. It was once a nice store with a helpful, and consistent workers. It has gone through many changes through the years, but now the cashier's are rude and impolite to the point of acting like ringing customers up is an inconvenience to them. Nothing like when Sonny was at the store.A real shame.
