Nothing better than a Homeowners Ass. who chooses which rules they want to follow. When you rent or purchase a property here you are held to a relatively easy set of rules. Example " please pick up dog poop" , "no glass containers by the pool". both of these are ignored, as well as all other pool and walkway rules. Leaving the children's pool area filthy and slimy on the bottom. And don't dare walk in the grass without shoes. Also the homeowner ass. rep will come to your house and suggest he has had complaints but won't provide proof or even a solid description of what the complaint is. "please clean your patio of leaves" did this, and now am somehow being billed because the sidewalk between properties has dirt on it?!?!? If you want drama free and comfortable high quality living I would avoid.

I have been a home owner here for the last eleven years and I am continuously appalled over the lack of service, professionalism and overall kindness of the homeowners association. My HOA checks are constantly being cashed 2-3 weeks after I mail them in and the amounts are recorded wrong on their end so I am getting notices of partial payment or no payment at all. Lucky I have my checking account records to prove my payments but I should not have to go through the trouble of proving the amount I have paid every single month. Last month I made my regular payment of $340 and I later receive a notice telling my my check was only $300. Sure enough I check my bank account and the check was indeed for $340.There is also a terrible person named Rudy who drives around on the golf cart (on the sidewalk) way too fast as there are children playing on the side walks. Myself and various neighbors in the area have been harassed by him, spit at, and flipped off. We have filed complaints but the woman by the name of Robbin Choppe keeps him around. The rumor is that she is too scared of him to let him go because he is a member of the Newhall Gang. Very sad and something has to change

Full of crotchety people who have nothing better to do than complain. I do feel bad for them since this must be the peak of their existence. Within a month of moving in HOA was kind enough to welcome us with numerous complaints, and some goblin in a golf cart is always running around giving the stink eye. It's pretty entertaining seeing how worked up they get to be honest. They have 99 rules ranging from "no sidewalk chalk" to "no ugly cars parked in permit parking". They're terrified of anyone under 65 living here so definitely look elsewhere if you want a decent place to live. Also the hot tub is constantly in and out of service :) Watch out for a man named Rudy in a golf cart, he's with another HOA. He loves to lie about anything and everything so don't listen to his threats.
