US Post Office

The lines can get long, but they keep it moving quickly. Bonnie is still there I was afraid she retired. She left for a break before I could talk to here. She is amazing! Great customer service even when it's crazy in there.3/10/24

They use outside contractors that will flat OUT LIE about not having access to your delivery location. I live well within the .5 mile radius of the lock boxes and gate is NOT LOCKED. They didn't even leave a little pick slip in the lock box. THE TRACKING STATES THEY WILL RETURN THE NEXT DAY. THEY DON'T.

Couple weeks ago a package of mine was showing delivered to Tahachapi. I waited days until the package was delivered to my mailbox/package box.Today I went in for a package that the USPS websight said was at the Tehachapi office. The website said it was NOT out for delivery. Well, it is on the delivery truck I was told which is fine...except last package took 4 days to get on the truck and this package I have until tomorrow to return it if I do not like it. I was treated sarcastically at the Tehachapi office. No respect whatsoever. Forwarned, I give what I get. I can be an ass also. So don't be surprised.

Great post office. Very fast and friendly staff. Always more than one employee when I have gone in.

These folks are. i've and helpful when ever i step in to see them. like others, i have a place in rural tehachapi- with rows of mailboxes - and people stealing mail.so, sorry for those inconvenienced by having to get your packages, your community service district should install those locking mailboxes they have been charging us for the last couple of years. Don't blame USPS cause our gated community has postal thefts.as lobby mail stuff - not sure why, but probably a DC decision. If you want more services write your congressman and tell them to stop making USPS to pay the treasury for future postal employees who haven't been born yet. They are required to pay for future employees (next 75 years) most have yet to be born. That's billions of dollars that could be used to give you service you would like 'n

I Love this post office and all of the employees. They have always been cheery, fast, funny, helpful and generous! They go out of their way to help us! If you notice, most of these bad reviews are about the MAIL CARRIER which is not at all the same as the post office, so those reviews shouldn't even be on here. You guys need to write a formal complaint on the government website about your individual postal carrier. This review is for the OFFICE.

Overall the service rendered by the people in the Post Office is great. However, I give the carrier on our rural route a BIG FAT "F"! Since Rob (Former carrier) has retired service is piss poor. We used to receive mail No Later Than noon. Sometimes on very heavy days he would be later. The carrier is lucky to have our delivered by 6:00 pm. On two occasions she has allegedly left notices for package pickup in our box. I've never received them. One package was valued at approx $150.00 and the other one is almost $300.00! The first package through the graces of Walmart, they replaced it. The second package I'm still waiting on a Requested Redelivery today. It appears to me the carrier (she) has no sense of urgency. On numerous occasions I've driven her setting at the mailbox playing on her phone for who knows how long. Guess we're stuck with the young until she bids for another position or quits.

how can you eff up leaving the parcel key in the wrong recipient box??? JFC....I hope whoever has the key brings my package to my door :(Don't bother calling, apparently no one works here

This post office usually has little to no wait time, in my experience, the staff is friendly and are great at recommending which ways to ship things to get the most bang for your buck.

This post office is a joke they change their hours and didn't tell anybody/ post it online and they never deliver any mail whatsoever. Apparently they close at 4 o'clock now because for some reason they're understaffed?? I got a notice I got a package and I drove all the way there and got there at 4:50 PM and they close at 4 PM apparently now. Waste of time. My Mail is constantly lost or missing. Nobody in this office gives a damn about anything. I don't know how you find people this unhelpful and rude. I'm actually impressed. They never take packages to your house or leave them at your door they just stick that stupid pink slip in your mailbox and you have to drive all the way there every time literally there's no point of having a mailbox if I have to drive to the post office to get my shit.
