US Post Office

Will go the extra mile, even return to your route when Amazon decides to slack and deliver late. Quite the different approach than literally every other location I've lived. Everyone is very personable, cares greatly about your mail, and provide a neighborhood value that is unmatched. I love our lil post office and all the couriers and counter help at the post as well.

My teenage daughter and I went here with an appointment for our passports today. Nichole was amazing! Patient and friendly and helpful. The whole experience was smooth and didn't take long at all. Highly recommend anyone who needs passports to come here

This little Post Office in Taft only has two counter spots for helping people. Line was very long. I did not spot any self-service stamp machine like other post offices have. All I needed was a book of stamps. They have a couple of postal boxes that you can drive to and drop off your mail.The one clerk who helped me was fine. When I was finishing, the second counter finally opened up. Was there for 15 minutes. If you have time to spare, then this post office is okay to visit.

The local Taft post office has everything you need for shipping right there on site for reasonable prices. Packing paper? Envelopes? Boxes? Sealing tape? It's all there!Almost Everytime I have gone in there, they've only had 1 window open. That's fine though, because it's usually not too busy! However, during the holidays it gets a little busier with people mailing off their gifts. However when it does get busy they usually open a second window to speed things up a little.The staff is also very helpful. My writing is horrible and rather than make rude comments she copied down what I wrote so that it would be legible.

If I could give this location 0 stars I would. In fact, it is so bad it got me to download this app JUST to write this review. When you buy things online it's nice to receive them, correct? Yes. It's even better when you pay for extra to receive those items in a more timely matter. Sadly, this location seems to think they can keep your packages and claim it's not their fault. I've had to make not 1, not 2 but 4 trips down there just to argue with the people they have working for them and to leave empty handed. Wtf, right? What in the actual FUCK. They argue that your tracking number that is proof they have your package and they STILL argue. They've lost countless other pieces of my mail and in return have delivered me late bills where I'm therefore penalized. Absolutely ridiculous and shouldn't even be a service to is hard working citizens.
