Stressful experience. Went in to attempt to internationally ship important documents. When I first walked in the place looked run down and not clean at all. There were hardly any customers there but there were 4-5 employees. I walked in and asked an older Asian lady about what would be the best way to go about shipping she mentioned several options and instructed me on how to package. When I finished I got in line and a younger woman attended me, I explained what her co-worker had told me and which option I wanted; she said those options are not available and gave me two more options. I explained to her they were important documents and needed them to get there safely. She charged me around $7 took the envelope and told me I was good. I asked for a receipt and she said it will take max 2 weeks. I called several times asking for an update and no one ever answered. 3 months later and my envelope just arrived. But hey it at least it arrived I was already thinking on the hassle I was going to go through if it was lost. Definitely recommend doing your research before going.

I recently moved and I been coming to the post office since last month. I have actually been here 4 times address change 3 times and asking to hold my mail 2 times until today this issue has not been resolved. Came in today since I got off of work early and my order to hold my mail was never turned in. Don't know what is going on in this place. Seems like they are understaffed or just lazy. The lady that helped meLast time was the older Asian lady which you can hardly understand. She was doing like 3 things at one time when she was trying to help me and still messed everything up. Anyways hopefully they will get they together and get my mail where it needs to be . Let's give it another week.

RACIST WORKERS.... My husband and I came in to drop off a package today and we're in line and when it was our turn the lady postal worker decided to ask another man if he needed help he had just walked in he was dropping off a package just like us. Then another man was behind us and when the guy postal worker became available he asked him if he needed help completing ignoring my husband and I. We waited and was wondering do I need to start video recording these racist postal workers. Then the lady postal worker said can I help you you've been waiting a long time and we said yes it seemed as though nobody wants to help us. My husband is a retired Peace Officer and he's a Military Veteran SHAME ON You post office workers. SHAME On 3200 Larson Lane we deserve to be treated with dignity and courtesy like everyone else should. Next time this happens I'm recording and going viral.

I guess Yelp decided to delete my review i just submitted earlier I guess if you complain too much it gets deleted so warning if the place is truly awful and you honestly have nothing nice to say your review will get filtered out. Idk i thought you were supposed to give a truthful and honest account of your experience. So here goes a short, honest, TRUTHFUL updated review to the one from 2 years ago....The actual mailing process if you go in to this location is fine and moves fast and that's the nicest thing i can say lol....The mail carriers at least in my area still suck very bad! Incompetent is a nice way to say it sorry but this is my experience. Still delivering important mail, Cards, W-2's, packages etc to whatever address they want. I guess it's too hard to read an address and get it into the correct box or front porch. And only a few times have i ever had a neighbour actually bring me a package that was delivered to them by accident. I am being serious it's so bad over here i wonder if they just drive by and toss the mail out and hopeit lands somewhere haha! And since my review 2 years ago can you believe it's gotten even worse? Like the disappearing gift cards my sons step grandma sent them. I even had proof they were supposedly in the mail that day from a photo and email usps sent me. But guess what no cards ever came. I hope whoever got them truly needed the money :) She sent more even though she is on a fixed income even after we told her not to. I was surprised they actually came! But that's just what playing mail roulette is all about. i'm worried they will lose my W-2's again this year. Several years in a row they were delivered to some random person and obviously used for no good as I've been a victim of identity theft because of this. I've had to get an IRS pin every year now because of someone trying to file taxes in my name. YAY me! Thank you USPS :) This particular location has and correct me if i'mwrong the worst mail carriers or maybe they just assign the worst ones to my area who knows. At this point perhaps i need a P.O. Box but i shouldn't really have to do that should I? I just want to know how hard can it be to just deliver the mail to the exact address on the mail? I mean you send an email with photos of what's in the mail for that day but when it never arrives the complaint process is a dead end as is going in to complain. They say every time..."Just because that email says its in the mail doesn't mean it's in the mail it means it's in our system" Ok but it says "Today" and has photos of your actual mail. So do we just look at the photos and hope like hell it comes and if not say "Oh well maybe someday it'll come" Haha that's literally what i do now it's actually hopeless hopefully this review gets posted i'm used to failure Lol....The end

They have excellent customer service at this location! Carrie was so helpful in my figuring out the best way to mail family pictures. The lines don't ever seem to be too long, either.

This is my regular post office. They cover a very large area of Bakersfield. The office is usually clean and well stocked. Postal staff are always kind and respectful. They have a lot of PO Boxes available for rental as well.

I told them I had an important piece of mail and ask the carrier to bring the mail to my home. She put a block on my mail. Now I am getting no mail. I went immediately down the Larson office and explained. The block is still on. That's what you get when you say something. I had a missed message within 1 minute I called them back. Repeatedly. To no answer. Over a week still no mail. But I saw her on my camera delivering mail to my next door neighbor the same day I had asked if she could drop my mail at my house. There was a note on our mail box the last the mail had been stolen the week before. I went to the counter at Larsen explained the situation with stollen mail. The manager said no we had no mailboxes broken into in that Friday. I then showed her a picture of the mailboxes with the note of the date of stollen mail. She went quiet. I had left messages for them to call me back. STILL WAITING. NOT A PRIORITY FOR US TO GET OUR MAIL. I HAVE NO IDEA WHERE MY IMPORTANT LETTER IS. I FEEL RETRIBUTION BY MY MAIL CARRIER FOR ASKING FOR HELP. HOW DARE I. NOW I GET NO MAIL AND NO FOLLOW UP HELP. NONE!!!!!!!

Typically, my mail arrives around 12PM and compared to what others have told me, that is considered very good. I realize that the post office handles millions of pieces of mail daily and I understand that mistakes happen, but I feel as if I receive too much mail that belongs to other people at a different location than mine. It makes we wonder how much of my mail is delivered to someone else. Back in the day, the post office handled even larger volumes of mail when email didn't exist, but they didn't make as many mistakes as they do today. I'm not sure if it's because of staffing issues or something else, but the quality of the service is not as good as it used to be.
