My parents have been loyal Urner's customers for over 30 years. They purchased a $2,000 mattress in May of this year and had issues from the beginning. 120 day satisfaction guarantee is not accurate at all! Urner's wouldn't take care of the defective mattress within that time frame as it's "only" permanently sagging 1/2 an inch where they each sleep. They were told the mattress must be sagging an inch before they'll do anything about it. Horrible customer service, wouldn't recommend ever purchasing a mattress from them as they do not stand behind their product.

Ok let's start out with we went here in a pinch because another established furniture store here in town messed up by not having our mattress order in on time and we were stuck without a bed. They have always done us good when buying appliances and furniture so we thought why not give the mattress store a try?We arrived on a Friday around 1:00 and the place was empty the sales person had us lay on this bed thing that measures what kind of mattress we should look at according to our weight, position we sleep etc. so then we tell her that we'd purchased an I Comfort by Serta which they carried also, so we looked at those. I laid on all the I Comfort beds they had and I was pretty sure I found the one we had purchased from that other store. I like a soft bed. Our mattress at home we had a 3" topper on it. So we sign the deal. Free delivery, 120 day satisfaction guarantee or you can exchange, so you have to purchase a $99.00 protective cover or it voids that. Then you get two free pillows. And it was in stock but by the time we were done it was 2:15 and cut off for delivery was 2:00. Go figure. Ok well tomorrow was fine we were in a bind and hey it was in stock we lucked out!!They delivered it the next day first thing, but one of the box springs was dented. And no they didn't have another one in stock. So they delivered another fill in odd box spring. So We had talked about getting the adjustable base anyway so I asked if she ordered that instead of getting the other half how much more would it be? She quoted me $800.00 hmm ok. Well hubby wasn't sold yet, so I said just get the other half of the box spring. Ok now the bed is set up. Oh my gosh this is like a styrofoam cube. I mean a firm firm mattress. My husband likes firm mattresses but he even said it was firm!! So I thought ok maybe it needs to be slept on. Well the next morning I felt like I slept on the ground. Then the next day I almost couldn't get out of bed. I'm not a whiner but REALLY. So I called and said I don't think we got the right bed and she said that at first they're a little firm and if I take my shoes off and walk all over it to help break it down it might soften it up. So I did. Nope!! Hard as a rock! I really didn't want to go through the hassle of exchanging this mattress because as I said HASSLE. We were headed out of town for the holidays and it was going to be just that. But I could not fathom sleeping on that mattress, and it was expensive I wanted a good night sleep, so did my husband. So as we swung back through town for Thanksgiving and we went by the store to do the exchange and for a bed that was way softer (I hope) and cost more! And then I asked about the adjustable box spring again and now it was $3,200.00!!!! WHAT? Forget it! Then there was a $70.00 redelivery fee that's when my husband got up and walked out! They obviously gave us the wrong mattress in the first place. I would of never bought a firm mattress because of my medical problems, now a delivery fee? And we were spending more money!! So we left. Two blocks down the road the manager called and said he'd waive the delivery fee if we'd come back and finish the paperwork he wanted us to be comfortable on our new bed. Why didn't you do that while we were there? This wasn't a cheap bed. Thousands of dollars. We were told it would be in in a week and nope it wasn't even though the manager Thomas has kept in constant contact with me and has tried to make this situation as good as can be expected. But of course our mattress didn't get shipped when it was supposed to, something to the about the manufacturer being out of the materials. But Thomas has kept me updated constantly and has gone out of his way to make us happy. We had done a lot of business with Urners before when we bought our new house. Now I don't think we will ever darken their doors again. Sad.

Bo was very knowledgeable and friendly. He has 31 years experience for your sleep needs so I would not hesitate to go back and talk to him!We went in to make a small purchase but ended up looking at the latest technology. Mattresses are ever-changing and progressing these days. Good sleep is so important!They have a machine in there that takes 20 seconds where you lay on it and depending on your pressure points and the way you sleep, you would be a 1, 2 or 3 as far as soft-firm mattress needs. Kinda cool.The store is way bigger than it looks from the outside and was neat and clean.Cheap, no but your mattress should be changed every 8 years.I was told they have a 100 day in home trial to ensure you are happy with your purchase.

My husband and I went to Urners to buy a refrigerator. We have bought several appliances from Urners because they are a home town business since 1919. They sold us a Whirlpool refrigerator. The ice maker did not work from the first day we bought it. Today 10 days later a repair man came from Appliance Repair, who stated this is a common problem with this refrigerator. I have two complaints, one against Urners for selling a defective refrigerator and Appliance Repair for knowing what the problem was but made us wait 4 days to send a repair man when they knew the problem They just wanted a payday from Whirlpool. So I can get the same horrible appliances from Lowes or Home Depot for a discounted price and get the same horrible service at a discounted price. Guess where I'm going next time I need an appliance. Certainly not Urners...

We recently bought new mattress and base from Urners Z's Please sleep center. Overall, very happy with the mattress, but I'm knocking two stars because of the installation fiasco. First of all, Thomas at Urners is great. He sold us the mattress and was very patient with us as we laid on mattress after mattress. He took really good care of us and for Thomas, Urners gets five stars. However, fast forward a week or so later when delivery happened. No real issues with them taking the old mattress and setting up the new bed. Until they were ready to go and I asked about our adjustable bases being synced. The guy acted surprised that I would want such a thing, but told me it was easy and I could do it myself. Umm, not so much. So I rip off the mattress and go to town on trying to get these things synced, but it isn't easy at all. On top of it, I noticed one of the new legs on the frame was bent. Insert steam coming out of my ears. It's about this time that I gander to the dresser and see that they had left their power drill behind. I call Urners to tell them to come back and get it assuming that it would be instant. But it really was two hours later and close to 7.30 pm. To the delivery guys credit, when I asked him to stay and sync it and as well as fix the leg on the base he spent 30 minutes and got it squared away. The biggest reason why I am knocking two stars is the fact that Urners allows a culture where employees think it is acceptable to be deceitful to clients by not disclosing a broken part to customers. In addition not following through on sales orders to sync the bases. On a multiple thousand dollar purchase, customers should expect a little more I think. On top of it, when the delivery manager called the next day, there was little to no concern about the shoddy installation. Just shows you where the priorities lie.

About 4 years ago, I purchased an adjustable King Bed. First of all it was wonderful bed. It has enhanced my sleep experience, not to mention television watching experience wonderfully. I was, however disappointed when only 3 1/2 years into the experience a pretty significant dip appeared in my mattress.Urners to the rescue! I called Urners to inquire as the the expense of buying a replacement. Thomas, the manager, informed me that I have a pretty excellent warranty. Long story short, he took care of everything and I purchased an upgrade for just a delivery charge. Thanks Urners, Thanks Thomas, I can't wait for my replacement mattress. Their stuff isn't cheap, but good stuff seldom is. Good stuff, fair prices and honest staff!!!! I'll be back!

We worked with Rod the store manager. We spent about 2 hours trying out beds while he checked in with us, yet gave us plenty of space. He's incredibly knowledgeable about beds and sleep quality. My husband and I went in just expecting to buy a mattress and box spring, but came out with a mattress and power base. We felt incredibly taken care of, not pressured, and given all the information needed to make the best choice for us. I'd highly highly recommend going to Urner's to purchase your next bed!
