Uptown Cheapskate - Lancaster

My SO and I frequented Marshall's and this store was never in our radar. Until recently when we went to T-Mobile and this store caught our attention. Out of curiosity, we went it and we were very surprised that this store existed. I talked to a nice lady who said this store has been there for 3 years now. Wow!!! I could have been selling or traded some of my branded items. Now that I have learned about this place, I will surely come back. They have a pretty good selection of clothes, shoes, and purses. Prices are very reasonable and they look great. Recommended. Happy thrifting

I brought in designer shoes (boots) all are designer. My first experience was great but I was also dealing with the owner who knew her business. I was told by the owner to bring back the Fall/winter items around this time, and they only took one item. He did't tell me which and gave me $9 and was rude. Told me because of condition??? Ha! I'd rather sell on Posh.

Such friendly service! I brought in some items to sell thinking I'd get an offer of $40 max. To my delight, I was offered store credit of $75!!! My daughter and I need new clothes so I took the store credit option! The cash option was less, but still very reasonable! Because clothing and accessories are sooooo very reasonable in the store, the store credit option was the best value for us! I was there solo at the time and spent $70 on some beautiful leather Dam Edelman boots, a cute faux leather skirt, and a couple other items, with $5 credit leftover! So thankful! I immediately went home and found more items to sell! My daughter and I went back and I got another store credit of $75!!! My daughter and I bought some cute items and headed home very satisfied happy customers! Really cool staff! Presentation of merchandise really well organized!We still have $29 store credit! Woo hoo!

Place is legit. Always new inventory and interesting pieces to choose from. Owner is cool..

Great store. They are always having sales and offering discounts. It's always find something I want every visit. Great place to buy gently used clothing. Staff is super friendly.

Wanted to love this place, but I have been in a few times now and had the same overall impression. Items are overpriced. A friend brought her items in to trade in and they really low ball you only to list them high. I guess that's the name of the game, but feels yuck. Staff could also be more welcoming.

I actually found this place via Yelp as I was looking somewhere new and near by to sell my clothes. It's not really near by where I live but headed this was was last traffic then going to the valley. I actually called before hand to see how long the wait was and how the process worked and the lady I talked to was super helpful and descriptive, I forgot her name but she actually helped with my buy when I came in. You sign in on an iPad with your phone number and if you're new like me you just make an account and then they check you in. If you stay in the store while waiting for your buy they'll get to it quicker rather than dropping it off and coming back. I brought a tote bag of items and they took a decent amount of them. It wasn't much for what I got but I feel like if you bring in more designer pieces you'll get more for your buck. Also if you decided to take trade (store credit) they offer that as well instead of cash. They had racks and racks of clothing both men and women but mainly woman. Prices are good, even on the designer and higher end items. They have items for all styles so you'll be sure to find something you like. I didn't end up leaving with anything this visit but I'm sure it'll happen the next time I come in to sell.

Took my husband's shirts & my clothes yesterday & went well selling most of our clothes. Very friendly & helpful!

I can always find cute & athletic items. The staff is always friendly & have smiles. My experience has always been fantastic & I will be back.

I don't recommend selling your clothes to this company! They are scammers, I took my brand new clothes, still with tags from forever 21, Nike, and was only paid $3 per item. The clothes aren't even sold for cheap, I can find newer and cheaper clothes at Ross!
