Best example of false advertising I've ever seen. We pulled off the freeway and saw the sign for $3. 09 per gallon. We then proceeded on to the property pulled up to the pump all stated $3. 09 a gallon. We inserted our credit card and the price did not changed, only ater we started the pump amount changed to 3. 39 a gallon. When I talk to the manager, Otis, he said that's our price for cash and credit is 339 you have to see these small sign. It's on the ground behind the bush. They got me once. And I will never shop there again.

While every other gas station on this exit, advertises their standard price for gas, this station advertises their 'cash' price. Which at first seems like you're about to save 20-30 cents per gallon when in reality you're actually spending more because the ATM / credit card price is actually 30-40 cents more per gallon. No need for that, sneaky way to try and deceive someone out of money.

This is normally my one single stop on my trips between San Jose and Camp Pendleton via the I-5, as it sits roughly halfway between the two points. Located roughly 200 miles south of San Jose/50 miles north of the grapevine, this TA/Union 76 station is usually priced lower than most other stations sitting between Gilroy and San Fernando Valley, making it a smart rest stop. Also, there is a convenience store, Pizza Hut Express, and family restaurant all constructed together, though I must admit I've never eaten at this restaurant. I usually fill up my car's tank, empty out my tank, grab a Monster, and get on my way.If you can never decide where to stop on those Bay Area-LA trips, here's a good option. Going South, however, make sure you take the Bakersfield exit, not the Buttonwillow exit, which will leave you in the middle of nowhere.

Short Story: Decent Stop with gas, restrooms & food. If you pay for gas with a credit card be prepared to pay .18¢ more per gallon.Short Story, Long:I have made a few stops here. This location is smaller than other truck stops but still has everything a traveler needs - Food, Gas & Restrooms.Food: This location has a small convenience store with snacks & coffee, it is also neighbored with a Quizno's if you want something more substantial. Restrooms: Decent restrooms, nothing fancy. The restrooms at the Travel Center across the way are nicer but these work just fine too.Gas: Not sure if the gas prices are competitive or not but if you pay for gas with a credit card be prepared to pay .18¢ more per gallon. It's not easily noticeable but there is a small sign disclosing this information. As for cleanliness, the gas pumps and filling area are kept decent.Giving it three stars because it has everything you should need for a quick pit stop and it is decently clean. However, charging extra for paying with a credit card... what is that!? I personally prefer the TA across the street, it's just a bigger and better stop.

POSTED PRICE ARE FOR CASH ONLY (in tiny print)Beware, if you pay with a credit card, you will be charged 18 cents more than the posted prices. This is an extremely deceptive practice. Not only is the cash price sign tiny, but the credit card prices are 18 cents higher!!!Luckily, we noticed the price difference on the pump when we put in our credit card, but most people wouldn't even notice and would have been ripped off! It should be illegal to post only the cash price.

Happened to me too. The posted price is for cash only and..... The pump does not list the price/gal until you start pumping. Total BS!For jacked up prices you would think the place would have decent windshield cleaners and solution... nope!Go somewhere else - there are plenty of better choices.

i feel slightly deceived by this 76 gas station. They advertise the gas prices as the cash only price (which is what gas stations usually do) but the credit price is usually only like 5 cents more than the cash only price. But instead, they were 15 cents more PER GALLON for the credit price! I didn't realize this until AFTER i had filled up. It would've been nice if they put a bigger sign showing the difference in price.

This Union 76 does not honor discounted pricing for holders of the 76 gas card . All but one 76 stations in my area do not charge the "credit price" on 76 cards. There is NO Visa or MasterCard fee when dealing with a "store card". In addition the price difference is 30 cents a gallon.
