The sign says Sultana but this listing states Dinuba. For me, it's Ferry Building, San Francisco Tuesdays and Saturdays. They have a stand on the north part of the market near the main building entrance. Right now, they offer a red grapes, pomegranates, some plums/pluots, jujube dates, and Hachiya persimmons (rounder ones that need to be ripened - soft). Fuyu persimmons are out now too.During the spring and summer months, you'll see a mix of citrus fruits (oranges, tangerines, mandarins, etc.), cherries, and stone fruits (peaches and nectarines in white and yellow varieties, apricots, and a larger variety of plums and pluots). Joe, his dad, and Buzz usually man the stand Tuesdays while another guy and a gal (sorry, didn't catch their names) usually man the Saturday market. Regardless, this is one of the more consistent stands that attends this market, dating back to the old days when it was near the Hyatt Hotel or the base of Broadway Street. They came throughout shelter in place though sampling fruits are no longer an option right now. Just ask them and they'll tell you how their products are right now. Sadly, with shelter in place these days, those fruit samplings are a thing of the past, at least for now.

Twin Girls Farm is absolutely hands-down the best in organic fruit in the Central Valley. I have told numerous people about their produce and anytime I'm in The City or across the Bay in Oaktown, I make it a point to visit the Farmer's market to make a purchase. The 24th Street Market, East of Noe Valley and near the Mission District, is the one I most often visit. Great fruit and at a reasonable price. Helpful hint: Try the white nectarines. Too good for words. And if you see the owner, Nacho Sanchez...tell him he owes me a game of racquetball :-)

I love these guys! They have the best fruit! So yummy. Today when I was at the Alemany farmer's market and did some orange taste testing. I bit into juicy sweet deliciousness....yess i have found the best orange place! I looked up to see the Twin Girls Farm banner. Also! They have the BEST pomegranate juice. Organic unpasteurized unsweetened 100% pure pomegranate. Amazing!

This is my favorite place for Satsuma mandarins. So tiny, easy to peel, mostly seedless and sweet with just a hint of tart. When these tiny oranges come into season, I always buy a ton from here and it's just me doing the eating! They also have a booth on the Tuesday market, too. They also carry other fruits besides Satsuma's. Other oranges, persimmons, most stone fruits, grapes and pomegranates.

The women working the Twin Girls Farm vendor at the Palo Alto Farmers Market on Sundays are frequently unpleasant. Today was one, and the last, of the several times I've encountered their sardonic attitudes. When I stopped by the vendor this morning trying to get some persimmons, I asked the girl behind the counter whether I could get a box from her to carry them so that they would not get bruised. She replied in a haughty manner "We don't give out our boxes!". She then continued in a patronizing way "Bruising helps them to ripen faster anyway." (???) Is she an idiot or does she think I'm an idiot? Of course I left without buying anything. There are many more fruit vendors at this market that are cheerful and gracious, much more deserving business from the community than Twin Girls Farm.

So good to get properly tree ripened fruit. Your plums were fantastic at a decent price. I'm going back to the store to buy more. This is how fruit should taste. thank you for all your hard work and effort to provide organic produce for people and our earth. Job well done and thanks again...love your name of your farm by the way!
