It's a nice course. Great for beginners to mid-level. The greens have been improved to the point where they're really nice to play on. The fairways are being improved as well. The redesigned clubhouse and restaurant are fantastic.Oh, and the staff are great. It's always a fun day to play at TGC

Haven't been here in over a year but nothing else open today that worked. They've really improved. Everyone is super nice now! Haley and Rebecca are darlings at check in. Bartender was fun and playful. Back 9 bartender super sweet. Made delicious bloody Mary. Greens look good! The outdoor patio is beautiful and feels cool as we drive by do they have ac out there? Great little hangout for the young adults. Really happy about how nice everyone is now Maybe course bathroom improvement is next

Friendly staff, fairly well-kept course. One of the few decent public courses in Central Valley.

Well bartender was good and breakfast was good. If you plan to golf you better be a pro. It was our first time here with a group and we were told we were too slow and felt rushed. Also apparently We were driving too fast per a Ken playing. We left our husbands to grab a drink From bar then were told we need to have the players in golf carts with us when we're driving. I thought we were playing too slow? how can we stop them from playing drag them with us to get drinks? It would've been nice to know the golf cart rules up front! I would never return here. If you want to be rushed come here if you want to be harassed then come here.

The course has went through quite a few improvements since I last played it. New ownership and GM Brett Miller have made quite a few improvements and more in progress and in the future. Just driving up to the course, I could see the trees raised and able to see much of the course from Laspina, the on going improvements to the landscape and clubhouse were impressive. Walking into the pro shop for the first time in 10 years was like step into a modern pro shop with all the amenities and plenty of logged clothing to choose from, the pro shop host was quick to bring up our tee time and let us know we had a time to hit a few balls on the range. The driving range had gone through some great improvements, wide tee area, no trees shading out the turf on the tee or practice putting green, and lighting for those who wish to hit some shots at night. Tees on#1 and 10 have been enlarged as well as optional tee setting on # 10, throughout the course the trees have been raised or eliminated, some sand bunkers have been eliminated, to speed play and some were just out dated and played unfairly. Great course in which you get to play just about every club in your bag, challenging, yet playable and enjoyable at all levels. Glad to see the new owners taking the initiative to continue to take out and modernize the elevated greens on the front 9, much needed to blend into the back 9 design and more player friendly. Hats off to the course superintendent for the greens, fast and consistent, even after a couple of hail storms and rain that morning. We played in 3 hours, which is extremely rare these days, play went fast, groups were well timed and sure to improved course conditions, kept pace and everyone enjoyed the round, even with the colder weather. Definitely look forward to coming back and continuing to seeing more improvements and playability. Keep up the great work! Cheers and God bless!

No complaints about this golf venue.A (regular) bucket of balls will cost you $5.50 and is a lot of fun to go hit. Balls are also sold for $1 each at the golf shop. While I don't actually play the course, my fiance enjoys playing here. I prefer to just hit balls.

Paid $48.00 to play here at 7:30 in the morning and it was a horrible experience. They treated us terrible telling us we were playing slow and it was two groups in front us. The Marshall was harassing us and not the group that was actually the problem. I will never go back to this golf course. If you looking for a place to play go to River Island or Valley Oaks in Visalia. I would give this place zero stars is I could.

T times were scheduled 5 minutes apart. 4 people in front 4 people behind. Group behind played up on us quick so we played tight to the group in front (knew them/friends. Marshals hassled us and the group in front of us for playing as what they called a 6 group. Mind you we had to wait for the group in front of us and then that group in front of them. We also saw a group of 8, 6 and two of 5.We were still hassled by the marshals 3 times, then asked to "split into 2 groups of 3". How? The carts hold 2 people. So we played back off the group in front of us, and of course now the group behind us had to now actually wait longer. Even as a group of 2 we still had to wait on groups in front of our friends and them. The marshal said the group behind complained we were too slow. This was after we were hit up on 3 times. Two of those times we were within 5' to 8', my wife almost hit twice. The marshal rather than say something to those hitting up on us they said "we needed to pick up the pace for our own safety". Remember, there were multiple groups in front of us we had to wait on and we were close to the course pace for 18 holes in 4 hours. The problem is if your not above average and the course set T times at 5 minutes apart create jams/slow downs. This was a great time with our friends and my wife but this is the 3rd time in 3 years. Same BS at this course every time. 98° out, No outside food or drink allowed, not one time did a beverage cart pass us. How can you go to the bar or clubhouse when constantly harassed about picking up the pace? Lastly, one Marshall stated the group in front said we hit up on them? It was our friends, they didn't complain and we never hit up on them. Too bad, nice course, poorly managed. We and our other 4 friends will NEVER go back. Poor long term business model. To our friends and my wife? They made it a great father's day golf game! You all rock. We will gladly spend our money elsewhere from now on. Lesson learned.

Had a great time at this place. The staff there is probably the friendliest I've ever encountered at a golf course. Check in was easy. The carts are brand new and peppy. The facilities are clean and the food at the restaurant was top notch. I got the chicken Philly sandwich and a Modelo and that hit the spot. The grounds are a pleasant surprise. The course has varying types of holes that pose different challenges. My favorites were where you had to hit over or near the water. The sand dunes were nicely kept. The only negative thing I would say is that the grass was a little dry at a few places but it didn't take away from the experience. Can't wait to go back.

Played last week and had a good round. Greens were super fast and rolled true. Pace of play was good until a 5some of all ages jumped on the back 9 and slowed play. Didn't really affect me til about hole 15 so not too bad. Only lighted driving range in the area. New mgmt is making good progress.
