Is it possible to give Dan 5*1000 stars? Decoration and styling presented one of the biggest challenges leading up to our backyard wedding reception, as we both did not have a clear vision as to what we wanted even after talking to multiple decorators and doing research/homework on looks. We were referred to Dan by AV Party Rentals because we originally thought we needed extensive pipe and drape for our wedding decoration. Dan organized our thoughts into a coherent vision and beautiful look for our backyard space. To say that Dan was pivotal is an understatement. He took initiative in ways that answered questions we didn't even know we had and communicated clearly and in a timely manner. He made us feel genuinely cared for as a couple going through the process of planning a wedding. Dan is passionate about giving clients the benefit of his experience and design eye. In our case, that meant pursuing less expensive/profitable options than we'd originally expected. He guided us to other high quality vendors even when he didn't stand to gain financially.TL;DR: Dan's the man!

Dan was amazing to work with, he truly pulled something together in a few weeks. Dan created a backdrop that will forever be a focal point of our wedding reception and in wedding guest minds. His added small touches was the icing on the cake!! Dan is a riot to work with and was able to meet him in person at the event, he's so caring and definitely takes pride in his work. First and foremost... DAN IS THE BOMB! I don't even know where to begin! My fiancé, now husband, and I were postponed several times at our original venue due to the pandemic, and my father was terminally ill so we did not have the luxury of time to postpone any further. So we made the hard decision to cut our guest list to our immediate family and closest friends and we were on the hunt for a new venue that could help us in a short amount of time. We were so stressed and getting extremely worried that we wouldn't find a local venue that could accommodate us. And then we found Dan and his dreamy venue. We went to visit his property and immediately fell IN LOVE. Not only with the property but with Dan and his genuine demeanor. When he asked me what my vision was, I briefly showed him some inspirational pictures and then it was like he read my mind! He took my breath away with how he was able to take my vision and turn it into reality. He was extremely transparent with us and talked me out of some ideas with great logic to help us save money. That is extremely unheard of when you are planning a wedding. He helped us navigate through all the stress of planning our wedding. He literally took care of everything. From the centerpieces, the flowers, decorations, backdrop, the bartender Bear (who was amazing), the DJ Chris (he is so talented and kept the dance floor jumping), catering, lighting and soooo much more. I cannot thank him enough for giving us the wedding of our dreams. He was so flexible, helpful, understanding, HONEST, and patient. I tend to over think a lot and Dan was right by my side talking me through everything. He was our wedding planner, coordinator, stylist , florist, therapist LOL and so much more. I cannot recommend Dan enough. I would hire him again with no hesitation. He truly is one of the best in the business. Thank you Dan for everything. We loved working with you!

I was fortunate enough to have Dan plan my daughter's wedding as well as my son's wedding and there really are not enough good things to say about him. His ability to make his clients' visions for their day a reality is remarkable. He really listens and thinks of every detail, many of which we would never have thought of. His creativity is amazing and he truly believes that great events do not have to cost a fortune.

I think I might be jealous! I was just reading another review and I thought I was the only one you did all this for!!! It warms my heart to see that others feel the same way about you that I do. As I read her review, I kept thinking about how many events we have done over the years and how you have done all these same things for me. You have talked me off the ledge more times than I can count. You have brought my visions to reality and made the people's jaws drop with your gift of imagination and creativity. Dan has taken my ugly backyard and driveway and transformed it into a club! You would never know you are in the driveway! Dan, I need a 50 foot bar but that will cost too much! "No it won't! Watch and see!" And like magic, a 50 foot bar made from a gazillion milk crates covered with beautiful black stretch fabric at a party with 500 guests! We rented out a museum and this bar was the focal point of the room! Don't believe me? I attached pictures! Dan can take a pool noodle and a hula hoop and turn it into a centerpiece for a 5 star venue! His talent is unmatched and he has a pure heart of gold! I have said it time and time again, you are the BEST for so many reasons. If you want a fabulous event and to work with a honest, professional, caring and fantastic individual, you better run, don't walk and call Dan!!! Beyond amazing! I AM SO fussy, and had a vision for my 50th Fiesta and Dan knocked it out of the park!!! So grateful for his ideas, his patience with me, and also, he willFind a way to work with your budget

Dan is incredible. If you want to make your wedding special and do it for the most reasonable budget ever AND find someone who is more than just a vendor but a partner in the process of styling, florals, decor, vibe, art, all these minor details that you don't want to delegate to a family member or 5 different vendors, HIRE DAN. Seriously, he's beyond talented and capable at what he does - this is coming from a total Bridezilla. We got married August 22nd, 2015 at Saddlerock Ranch and I worked with Dan from Feb 2015 until the wedding. By profession, I'm a TV producer/executive and my wedding was nothing short of a production in EVERY way. There's a flow to a wedding and if you want people to talk about it being the most magical night, then you have to produce it like a TV show. Everyone who was at the wedding was stunned at how well "produced" it was and the amount of detail that went into it...I have to say that all the details that I added were very US and Dan took "US" to a new level in terms of details. He added so many special touches and went above and beyond to work within my budget and steer me away from frivolous spending, which you won't get from other wedding vendors. Most people try to take advantage of you as soon as you say the word 'wedding,' Dan does not do that, he's just an honest guy. He's so beyond good at what he does and he will make your night YOUR fairytale. He also has no real boundaries when it comes to creativity and is willing to pitch in and help style everything and anything -- which is key because you don't need to hire a vendor for the arch, a vendor for the florals, a coordinator (we had a great one but he does that too), a vendor for rentals to do the touches (like a lounge made of old trunks and rustic furniture), the set up of the welcome tables, etc. The other thing that he did was he listened and looked at the Pinterest pics I sent him and said, okay, I see what you're going for, he's how we can achieve X for a more reasonable budget than what they probably had here. I also sent him pics of the bouquet I wanted and the one for the bridesmaids and he replicated it and made it better with small touches to make it pop even more, which I was really nervous about...he kept saying it would look the same, but I didn't believe him until I saw it, and ya, it was exactly what I wanted. He's great at getting to know his clients and anticipating what they will want when it comes to the details. There's not really another vendor that I've come across who does this...but that's the other big difference between him and the rest of the vendors out there. Lastly, he also made us cool signs for our chairs that said Co-Executive Producer under our names, which I thought was so cool and unique. It went with our TV theme!I looked at 2 dozen vendors before I found Dan (by accident on Yelp while trying to look for a chandelier to rent)...seriously one of the best hires of the ENTIRE wedding and he made our wedding perfect. If you're getting married, hire Dan/his Trightymite team! He loves what he does and he's not your typical vendor who has some cookie cutter pricing sheet and a way of doing things that is by the book. Dan threw out the book and he just wants happy clients and people's dream "event" - wedding or otherwise - to come true.

What can I say?! Dan is amazing. I've been to several parties he's put together and they are always a hit. However, the unique thing about Dan is that he can create something fantastic even if you don't know what you want. I'm not very creative so I let Dan just redecorate my apartment as he saw fit. I loved it! For real. From the drapes, which were inexpensive,, to the way he placed my hard backed books and family photos, it was like a brand new place. I highly recommend Dan and his company to make it happen without breaking your bank.

My goodness where to even begin! Everything looked above and beyond anything I could have ever dreamed of on my wedding day. He transformed my reception space (an outdated clubhouse) and made it look stunning with the beautiful draping and every detail was thought of and looked incredible. Even carved mine and my husbands names into the cake stand and made mine and my bridesmaids bouquets which looked amazing. I am beyond thankful for Dan's help making our day so perfect.

Dan did an amazing job decorating and coordinating our wedding! It was everything I wanted and more. He made it a day that we will never forget. He also took all the stress off of me planning a wedding during a pandemic. I totally recommend Dan for weddings, parties, etc. He truly cares about his work and about bringing joy to his clients.
