The guys at Transmission Performance Center really saved us. We bought a truck from a tow yard. There was a sticker near the gas tank that the trunk only took diesel .... so we put diesel. HUGE mistake. Luckily, the truck stopped running near this place. The guys came out to ask us what was wrong. They realized the sticker was wrong and gave us an idea of what could be done to fix the problem. We left the truck with them (thankfully we had a rental) and returned home (to another state). Jimmy communicated with us throughout. He told us when the car would be ready and gave us a fair price. We drove back to Bakersfield and picked up our truck last Friday. We've driven it about almost 1,000 miles so far and it's worked perfectly. These guys are honest and helpful. If I needed help again, I wouldn't hesitate to give them my business.

Needed help when my car was stuck in limp mode. These guys helped me out of a real bind.

Thieves , My car was hidden in back of shop for 2weeks and once returned by tow my batteries were stolen and kept by shop.

This place is a nightmare! They will take your money, say they fixed the issue on your vehicle, and a few days later you find out that your car is still in the same condition as when you brought it in. When you bring the vehicle back they will do the same thing again and not fix the issue. They will keep your car for weeks without ever truly fixing anything. They take peoples money knowing they aren't properly repairing the issue. These people do not care for their customers satisfaction. They are rude and horrible communicators. I would avoid this place at all cost. It is one of the worst vehicle repair experiences that I've ever witnessed.

I took my truck to get that transmission fix well they keep for long time finally they said was really, I bring it home after 2 days my truck broke down again same transmission problem I took it back and they ok will be ready in 3 days they never call me so I went was park in that same place, they have not even started working at my truck.finally they fix it so I bring it back after 1 week that truck starts doing that same I call and they were rude and said bring it again, that Mecanic said in 2 days come for your vehicle well took me 17 days to get back and is not even fix they never it they, went we get mad and demand our truck they got mad and try to fight us because we said I was going to take them to court, I pay a lot for them not doing there job, about 4 Mecanic came after us trying to fight us because we were taking our truck and they got mad because am going to proceed to take that place to court and since I took pick and video they were furious. I was traveling from Sacramento to Redlands when my transmission failed. I was told that the CVT transmission that my car was equipped with was not repairable and must be replaced. Luckily, before I took It to a dealer for a cost of 6000+ dollars, I called TPC. They assured me that they had experience with this repair. I drove to the shop and met Jimmy. He was so professional, confident, and reassuring. He tested the car and gave me an estimate. I rented a car to get to my family reunion and left my car with him. He was so great! He communicated with me throughout the process in such a positive way. He went through the process with Nissan to make sure I got a full warranty on the new transmission. He had the car ready for me on the date I was passing back through Bakersfield and it runs perfectly. And, I saved $1000.00 based on other estimates for this work. I highly recommend Jimmy if you need transmission work!
