The best old school service around.. Way better prices than Save Mart! A very friendly staff that is always willing to help out..

This supermarket has been in Porterville for as long as I can remember. That being said I don't think it's changed a whole lot. Produce section is wonderful with lots of very fresh large vegetables. They also have a lot of things that you won't find in any of the other supermarkets in town. Every time I have been in the store it is clean but it just seems to need refreshing. I would love to see this store remodeled because they really have a lot to offer but it's not as interesting to look around because it just seems like an older store. I don't tend to make as many impulse buys here as I do at the other supermarkets because of the layout of the store but I do appreciate what they have here.

Only supermarket in Porterville with excellent customer service, only place where they regularly offer to help you take out your groceries to the car. (If they don't offer, just ask). One of the owners even took the time to help me unload my groceries at the register. As a mom of four little ones, I cannot appreciate this enough. Best customer service to be had in Porterville!

BEWARE EBT FRAUD!!!!! As a single mother I use my EBT card to pay for my groceries. However on 10/3/2022 at 9:30am. I used my EBT on groceries that were 90 dollars. Two days later I went to another store and my EBT card was declined due to having no more benefits. I look on my EBT app and it said I used my entire EBT balance at town & county at 10:45am. HOW THE HELL did I use my entire balance when I left the store at 9:30am & had more then half of my balance left on my card!!! I contacted my social worker and they are going to be doing an investigation. I have been going to this store for years and never had any issues. Very sad to see a good store have a bad fraud reputation.

T&C has supported and fed this community all my adult years.The business is very maintained, they provide numerous local jobs, and their prices are kept as low as possible.They are A-1 in my books.

I have shopped at Town & Country since I moved here 20 years ago. I love the employees. they are always very friendly and cheerful. They are also willing to help at any time. I asked about certain items I wanted and they actually started carrying those items for me on several occasions. They are so quick to offer to take your groceries to you car, however, they wouldn't go home with me and carry them up my stairs and put them away, LOL. The store is always so clean and organized. I also love that they are open early (7 am) seven days a week. I like to shop early. They show me much respect and I respect them, all of them. Thanks T&C for being here for me.

This is a landmark in Porterville with all the stuff you can no longer find elsewhere that you need. I do not shop as much as I could but I am happy they are open and my mom goes there regularly.

Awesome huge grocery store with tons of options, including organic and gluten-free. A great find when on the road to Sequoia National Park. Staff seem friendly too.

Poke bowls to-go are a variety of fresh veggies. They give you 7 varieties to choose from. I chose the California bowl. Comes with imitation crab and avocado and sides. I chose 50/50 base. Rice and salad to start off with. Next sides...there are plenty to choose from. I chose Edamame, Seaweed Salad, Pickled Ginger, Masago, Tempura Crunch and Fried Onions. Delicious! Made to order and fresh. Big portion for a meal. The only disappointment is the amount of sauce they give. Very small. I would definitely order again just pay more for sauce.
