Very friendly and honest mechanics I had a breakdown in the Grapevine. They took care of my car in a reasonable amount of time and got me back on the road... I would highly recommend this mechanic.

I want to thank Donna and her amazing team at top of vine for helping us out. Our car acted funny after our trip from Sequoia to LA after climbing up that gigantic mountain in Lebec. We pulled off after the check engine light came on and were blessed to find this shop available. They took in my sportage, diagnosed the issue and even recommended where we could stay for the night. The next day the part needed was available and picked up and we were back in LA later that day. Fair pricing and such a friendly establishment, I'd truly consider making these folks my mechanic if they weren't already an hour away from me! Also this place was dog friendly they have a sweet rottweiler who just wanted to be best buds with our little sunny boy

Friendly reasonable service. They saved us on Memorial Day. Big Bronco tire ended up with a Slice after off roading. They exchanged the tire with our full size spare and we were good to go.

Outstanding, fast, friendly & honest service! Donna is amazing, she made sure to get a quick diagnosis & temporary fix on my car's issue & got me back on the road asap. She even went out of her way & contacted the local dealer to see if they could get me in since the repair was outside of what they could do. I do my own oil changes, but had an issue with my oil pan bolt. Spoke with Donna, she was very accommodating and got me in and out with an oil change completed, reasonably priced... I Highly recommend.

Donna, Rick and Ron are absolutely the best! No matter what car issues I have had, this team is always willing and able to help resolve problems. From Donna's extremely personable and caring attitude to the very impressive expertise of Rick and his other mechanics, I can always rest assured that no matter the issue, they can fix it. The value this team brings...not only to this tight-knit mountain community...but to all travelers who may happen to have vehicle problems along this major traffic corridor of I-5 on the Grapevine/Ridge Route, is hard to put into words. "Top Of the Vine" is a shining example that ethics, courtesy, kindness, integrity, professionalism and top-notch work can still be found in the unlikeliest of places. If you're stranded anywhere within 100 miles, there's no better place to recommend than this shop. I wouldn't take my vehicle anywhere else!

Donna is amazing! While I was driving over the grapevine on a Saturday my car overheated and went up in smoke! Luckly my AAA tow truck driver knew the right place to take me. Even though we got to the auto shop around 6pm, Donna still agreed to take the car in and meet with us. She reassured me that my car could be fixed quickly and even drove my girlfriend and I to a hotel to stay at while the repairs were being made. She fixed up my car in no time and did it for less than a third of the cost we originally thought! I can't overstate how grateful I am that I ended up at Top of the Vine Auto Repair. If you ever get stuck on the grapevine I would 100% recommend coming here. I have seen some other reviews call Donna their "Guardian Angel" and I have to say, that's truly what it felt like.My only wish is that I lived closer to this shop so I could take my car here every time I have issues in the future.Huge thank you to Donna and her team!

Check engine light came on while heading south on I-5 towards LA. Stopped into Top of the Vine Auto Repair. Donna was amazing. Friendly, accommodating, and fast. Rick did an awesome job. Explained everything going on in detail. Had us back on the road in no time. Great work, great price, great business. Thank you so much!

I was about 40 minutes out of LA and the check engine light came on. My Subaru Forester was jam packed with stuff, including my cat and perishable foods. I had over two hours left to drive to get to my cabin in the mountains where I reside part-time. I was feeling rather frantic. The first shop I stopped at in Frazier Park wanted to charge me a lot just to do a diagnostic but didn't even have the time to do that. Thankfully I went a bit farther and found Top of The Vine Auto Repair where Donna came to my rescue. She did the diagnostic with minimal charge. Knowing what the problem was, I decided I would be safe to drive to my cabin in the mountains, though would need to fix the problem ASAP once I got there. I want to thank Donna and Top of The Vine Auto Repair for helping a stressed traveler.

Had a flat tire from the top of the mountain from a day trip with me and the gals. Asked around for a mechanic in the area and was told this one was the best option. Spoke with Donna and explained the situation and our limited time schedule to get back home to LA county. Donna prioritized my flat tire and had us out within less than an hour. Asked many questions to Donna regarding the service repair and possible options, and she was knowledgeable and patient. My tire was good as new. Donna was very personable with great conversation! Wished she was my primary mechanic if she was not hours away. Kept their business card with me if I am in need of car repairs and in the area. Thanks Donna you saved me!
