Top Construction was a great find for us for our master bed/bath addition. Enrique and his team do quality work and are the nicest crew! Greg was always quick to respond to any questions we had. We will definitely be using them in the future.

Awesome. I had an upstairs window that leaked a lot and lots of water came in with the rains. I hired Top Construction to replace the window. Greg listened and ordered exactly what i needed. When i had questions, he promptly answered all of them. He pulled the permit and handled scheduling the inspections. The crew was great. They cleaned up everything daily and at the end of the project. So happy with my new window and grateful for Top Construction. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Greg and his crew, lead by Enrique, take great care ensuring that you get exactly what you want when remodeling. Greg gives great feedback on the choices you make - even if that means spending less money. He treats your home like his own and truly listens to what you want and makes suggestions based on his years of experience.Enrique and the crew are very respectful of your home, always leaving your house clean. They will even move furniture around for you in the rooms they are working in to prevent any damage. We have used Top Construction for two major projects - master bathroom and kitchen remodels - rebuilt from the studs up. Both projects were executed perfectly.

I have been a customer of Greg and his crew for over 20 years now. What I can tell you is that they built a 500 sq ft addition to my house, fixed my roof, poured a new concrete driveway, built a 70+ foot long slump stone fence with wrought iron, prepped and painted the interior and exterior of my home with the upmost care and attention to detail. This past spring they resurfaced my pool and added new tile, so you can probably say I am very happy with their work and professionalism. Of course this all costs money (quality work is NOT cheap), but every buck I spent was worth it! Everything looks great! Very happy with the quick response and results! The neighbors are asking for Top Construction's number now!

This spring we wanted to put in a pool. My husband reached out to four different contractors and Greg was the only one who got back to us. We are so glad that we used Top Construction for our pool. Greg, the owner, and his crew are hard working, reliable and do fantastic work. When a problem would arise, Greg was very responsive and the problem was taken care of. Updates were given regularly and we were always kept in the loop. From start to finish it was a wonderful experience and we highly recommend Top Construction!

We wouldn't hire this guy again if he was the last contractor on the planet. 7 months to complete a 150 square foot addition.Worst customer service ever. When we questioned him about not showing up, he said " oh.. my bad.. I forgot."We let him know that wasn't acceptable.His reply: " You know what? You're lucky I even called you back." Seriously?I could go on and on.. but this guy has wasted enough of our time. Just hire someone else. Period.I did save a few choice voicemails he left us....even one for a family member!Obviously there are personal issues outside ofhis professional shortcomings.

I asked you to come 1 time and that was after you started lying about when you were going to start. You had no intentions of ever completing the job and yet you unlawfully kept my deposit. You can't deny a judge had to force you to do the right thing and that's the kind of corruption anyone who hires you will encounter.

Good God! All of these people had the exact same horrible experience that we just had! Avoid this business like the plague! Ultimately, the work got done. The job involved building a covered patio, building a BBQ, replacing three doors and two gates, building a retaining wall in the back, and some additional relatively minor work. All of this took nine whole months to complete! The quality was good overall. The crew is knowledgeable and nice; unfortunately, they work for the world's absolute worst boss who makes them all look bad.Like other people have pointed out, the contract terms are horrible and put the customers at huge financial risk. Huge gobs of money are collected up front, and then they disappear to work on the numerous other jobs that they have, and you have no inkling of when they'll be back. I was afraid the whole time that my money might be used to fund other jobs and that I'll be left in a lurch if there's any financial mismanagement or if something happens to the owner. You should only be forced to pay a reasonable down payment to get the work started, but we estimated at some point that we had paid at least 65% to 75% of the money for maybe 25% to 30% of the work. If you ask Greg Aliano once about when he will continue the work, he sends you a screenshot of a huge list of jobs showing that you are on the bottom. If you dare to ask him a second or third time (because you have no idea when he will be back), he will chastise you in the rudest fashion. If you dare to ask about specific details of work in progress (because you may have a concern about potential issues), he will insult you. He told me (for example) that I complain too much and that I'm not a normal person. He was downright nasty to my wife for just asking what his schedule is (and we have the texts to prove it).Greg is extremely aggressive when it's time to collecting money (that won't be earned for a very long time). He once sent his supervisor INTO MY BACKYARD on a Friday evening to collect a payment, and they also texted me the next day on Saturday about it. This was unbelievable given how much money they had already collected without doing commensurate work (not to mention that it's trespassing and harassment). At some point, I got fed up with the money requests, and I ended up writing two post-dated checks that should have been cashed only when certain things happened. Even though I explained to Greg what I was doing and why, he went ahead and cashed both (BIG) checks early anyway.I WOULD CAUTION everyone against putting any stock in these awards that Top Construction has supposedly been given. At some point, in the middle of our frustration, Greg sent me a text supposedly showing that he had just been selected two years in a row for the "Best of Santa Clarita Awards." When he showed up a couple of days later, he showed me the graphic of the award again (on his phone) and told me, "I just wanted you to know who you are dealing with." I could not believe the nerve of this guy! He practically held our money for ransom, insulted both me and my wife, and he had the nerve to tell me that we're lucky that he's working with us! Given that he had the worst customer service we had ever experienced in our lives, we couldn't believe that the City of Santa Clarita would give him this award. Guess what? They DIDN'T give him the award. I googled it, and only two things came up--the awards given by the SCV Signal, and the ones given by the Chamber of Commerce. I called the Signal to ask how Top Construction could possibly be given the award, and they did some research and told me that 1) they hadn't given him the award (they gave it to a different contractor) and 2) that it looks like a scam. I then googled the SCV Chamber of Commerce, and he's not on their list of recipients either. Who gave this supposed award that they tout on their website??? If it's an actual person or organization, how is it possible that Top Construction could have earned it given all of these one-star reviews on Yelp??? Seems pretty fishy.Lastly, there is the matter of the port-a-potty. Greg left this eyesore in my driveway for many, many months because the work wasn't getting done. At some point, we noticed that our USPS mailman was using it daily on his route without even asking our permission, so our house had become a public restroom. The potty was eventually hauled away because the lease had expired (or whatever the reason was), so when the workers actually came to do work, they used our bathroom in our house because they had nowhere else to go!I feel bad for the workers, but no one should EVER EVER EVER hire Top Construction!
