The Vault Bar & Grill

The food was great, and the servers were excellent. We got the jalapeño burger and the Vault burger--both were delicious. The fries and onion rings came out crispy and hot, totally worth the drive from Springville. Just a constructive suggestion: dimming the lights a bit could create a smoother, cozier vibe, and spreading the burger toppings more evenly would help (all my jalapeños were in the middle, so I had to search for them after the first bite, lol). Still, 5/5!

Cute concept, decent service, friendly staff. The food was consistently good with a lot of variety to choose from. They don't do reservations - just a heads up.

While waiting on some repairs to get done to the tires of the company truck along with some other problems that the vehicle had, I decided to go give the vault a try. As I walked in, I noticed how high the ceilings were and how this must have been a turn of the century building due to the brick walls and other features within the restaurant. I like that.So the special of the day was brisket. I tried the brisket tacos with a mild pico de gallo and guacamole. And on the side, the parmesan garlic chicken wings. The waitress was very attentive and pleasant to be with. She took my order, And I was quite surprised how quickly my order came to my table. The brisket tacos were quite good. With a little of a spicy kick along with a decent flavor to the meat. The chicken wings were crispy and flavorful.In all, I shall return. I would like to try the other menu items to see if the hype is worth it.

Today I was in Porterville for work and a colleague recommended The Vault. He promised the burgers were fresh and really good. I ordered the Avocado Burger with sweet potato fries. While the fries were a more well done side, my burger was juicy and delicious. I also loved that the bun was not very heavy, it was more light airy. Service was good as well. I would definitely come back.

I love this place. It might be the best restaurant in Porterville.They have awesome beer on tap, even Pliny the Elder which is such a hard beer to come by in the bottle let alone on tap!Every food item we've had has been superb. And only once was the service something to complain about. Even then it's because they got packed and couldn't keep up with how fast it happened.I've had the vault fries, vault burger, Tri tip salad, and the ribeye. You can't go wrong with anything, just depends on your mood.Just note the ranches cost 25 cents each, but I believe it's house made. I opt for the blue cheese dressing though, it's out of this world.

I have been several times and the food is great!The wait staff is awesome very friendly and attentive. Depending on what time of day you go seems noisier in the evening than at lunchProbably due to alcohol being consumed. The craft beer is delicious and always fun to try different ones. Highly recommend you wont regret it!

I'm never disappointed whenever I go to the Vault Bar & grill. The food is on point, and the service is fantastic.

Went twice.1. Burger topped w pastrami very good. 2.Italian sandwich, like Italian dip, not good. Funky smoky taste. I would say, Just give us plain Italian dips. Also, fries have definite room for improvement. And salt. So: burger was great, Italian was disappointing. I wanted to request money back but it's not like it had bugs in it.IMPORTANT FOR MANAGER!: it was pitch black outside, only at The Vault or closed stores. Thats a severe safety issue at 7pm in December!! People are new to town, and senior citizens can snap a hip (at your expense). I pointed it out to two employees; neither did anything.Even if theyre automated lights, you should adjust them to sundown time. Please fix this!! It makes your place more attractive from outside. Town needs MANY more casual independent restaurants in this town. How many times can a person eat at Apple.....?Light it up and make YOUR place the one to be busiest!

We went on a Friday night. Hot as hell outside 108° but it was very comfortable in the Vault. There are booths and tables and outdoor seating. No one was eating outside this night. Place was fairly full and loud. Servers were nice and BUSY. Couples and families were dining. They have a giant selection of beer, wish I was a beer drinker to Report more but it looked good.Our orders arrived and the hamburgers smelled soooo good, nice clean meat, wafts of deliciousness coming from the burgers. I ordered a side salad, it was huge. Wished I could have finished the burger but I just couldn't. Glad I came in hungry.
