One thing that I like about jury duty is that it is in downtown. It is not often that I have the opportunity to eat lunch in the area durong the week. After conducting a Yelp search, my legs led me to The Sub Tower. Had no idea that this sandwich shop existed. As the other reviewers mentioned, it is a bit hidden at the first floor of the Bank of America building. Definitely one of the smallest restaurants I've patronized in town. There are 3 tables with 2 stools each for folks to dine at. Appears that many folks get their meal to go.Pastrami sub sandwich was my choice which came with a tasty pickle. A small side of either Potato Salad or Macaroni salad was also included. I had their yummy Potato salad. The Pastrami sub was not very big, but it satisfied my hunger. Was not one of the best Pastrami sandwiches I've tried, but it was not bad either. If I come back here, then I will try something else from their menu. The Sub Tower is a good place to try for breakfast or lunch. Absolutely worth trying and deciding for yourself if you like them.

First visit here today as it came up in my recommendations on yelp and sounded interesting. Overall not a bad experience I'm 50/50 on if I'll go back. I went with the pastrami sandwich which was just your basic pastrami on a roll with mustard (I declined the pickle.) The pastrami itself is pretty good not the best I've ever had but far far from the worst, I enjoyed it. My big criticism is that the portion size is small. When I first opened it I almost thought it was a hot dog but but it was just a small roll. It looked nothing like anyone else's pastrami pictures here so I think they decreased the size which is a shame. If I pay $10 for a sandwich, chips, and drink I would hope it would at least fill me up but at the end of the day it's a good sandwich, just too small and overpriced for what I got.

Updated review/under new ownership as of the past couple months. The new girls running this do a great job. They're consistently open during their posted business hours, and the food is really good. Nice portion sizes and everything is fresh. One thing that I really like is they've got a few pre-made options in the mornings- breakfast burritos and bagel sandwiches.

I found the sub tower by using the map function on Yelp. I work across the street and had no idea it existed, nor did any of my coworkers. I am glad I found it tho. It is hard to find but worth the effort. Today I had the Italian with easy lettuce. The sammich was great. Also included was a small fruit cup and pickle spear. The breakfast offerings looked wonderful, so I will be back to try those. I would recommend this joint to friends and family.

Just had lunch here, the Italian sub was delicious and the service was great! It's a lil hidden but if you ask the security guard he'll point you in the right direction.
