The She Shed by The Peachy Pig

I LOVE LOVE this gem of a store!!! Maybe I should say boutique, as they have vintage, repurposed and a few collectibles!!I have been patronizing this amazing find for years now and when I'm thinking of something special for my home or a gift for another to add something eclectic with a little spice, this is the first place I go!! They are super great Peeps that work in there as well. Super kind and helpful, they have just about anything one could ask for or need for either one key item for your home or to be honest to furnish your entire space. I live about an hour away, but it's more than worth the drive. Going there is a big treat for myself and anyone else who comes with me.... And trust me, we have NEVER left empty handed!Check it out, I promise it WILL be your "go to" as well!!

This artsy type store is probably not marketing to fellows such as me. That being said, I was riding my bicycle downtown one day and saw an interesting piece in the window. I did come back by a few hours later and purchase it. The item was electric and the lady at the counter did test to be certain that the lights did work. I also bought some unique hand made greeting cards that are very nice. I wanted to buy some Christmas placemats for our table but I did not see any. For this season there is so much Holiday decor. I would go again but only if something caught my eye as I went by.

I rarely get to the downtown area, but this little boutique is too cute not to visit again! The prices are reasonable and there are some crafty items to peruse!

Love it here! Everyone is so nice and talented! I came in and saw they were holding a class so I signed up for it. I learned how to paint my own furniture it was a really fun class! I was able to bring in my own price of furniture and they supplied the paint and brushes. All of the furniture in there is stunning and reasonably priced I bought a beautiful shelf and a little mason jar.

The She Shed has some fun and beautiful refurbished furniture, vintage items, and decor for reasonable prices. I try to check it out every time I go through Bakersfield.

This store is super cute. Let me set the stage...you be the judge. Gate wide open, front door wide open, lights on, sign in the window front they says "come on in! We're open!" Soooo I walk in and start browsing some really nicely redone antique furniture. I find a piece that is $289. I think "I'm going to buy that. It will be perfect for my kitchen." I was bending down looking at it. I stand up and turn around to be met face to face with a woman. I visually am startled. Hand on chest with an audible gasp. The lady doesn't say hi sorry to startle you. No no no, she says "we're not open." I say oh my I'm sorry the front door and gate are wide open and you have a sign that says come on in we're open. She then becomes annoyed, rolls her eyes and says again, we're closed people are moving stuff in and out. So I immediately leave as she follows me out.So two stars because the stuff was legit super cute. One star because I totally read that situation correct and feel whoever that lady was was out of line.

So I've been wanting to visit this place because I was so excited to buy something and was looking for a farmhouse table I did see one in there but when I walked in no one greeted me they just looked at me they were so snotty and made me feel uncomfortable like I did not belong in their store..... if that's the kind of attitude they're going to have and not greet the customers and have a shitty attitude good luck with staying in business because I'm sure a lot of people feel this way!!! you done lost my business I'll never come back in here again.

I love this place! There's so much happy packed in to a little store. There's a lot to see without feeling overwhelming or messy. The owner and staff are super helpful. I'm pretty new to the DIY chalk painting and they are great with helpful tips. It's definitely worth the drive downtown

Seriously you cant go wrong in this store. Everything is amazing, when we walked in we were greeted and asked if we were looking for anything specific. (We were just browsing) The lady was very nice, we walked around..... for probably an hour looking at everything....seriously SOOOOO much cute stuff! Definitely a must go by store! (DIY paint is also amazing, I bought 4 colors and have to go get more!)

I'm new to the area. We've made quite a few purchases for ourselves and our sons home. Just love everything in the store. It's fun for gifts, and up cycled furniture. I'm definitely going to be a regular at this treasure. Dawnie was so amazing and helpful. Until my next trip.
