The Rock Inn

Went there about a month ago. Had a Philly Cheesesteak sandwich and it was delicious. The service was amazing and very hospitable.Lots of pictures on the wall and they decorated the place for each occasion.Definitely a great place to stop and visit!

My amazingly favorite go-to breakfast spot at Lake Hughes. I came here for breakfast as a treat from my college friend to celebrate my birthday. The restaurant has a cool vibe, it's welcoming to all customers who like Americana, with a cute bar, rock fireplace, piano, pool table, some game machines. There is an outdoor eating area with classic old gas pumps as decor. The food here is classic American, so come by if you're looking for somewhere to go for lunch. It's located in the Angeles National Forest, a little drive off the 5 freeway off you like driving like I do. The food is delicious, and on some evenings, they have local entertainment, like singers and guitarists.

Best destination diner around LA! Get company, staff and the food is really high quality and affordable.

Fabulous Thanksgiving Day at The Rock Inn, they were serving Free Thanksgiving Dinner, we just had to bring Dessert .. The Food was Amazing as home made as you could get.. Thank you everyone for the inspiration job you did for free. A Thanksgiving Blessing. ‍‍‍

We've been coming here for many years and I can't believe I've never left a review. Awesome setting, excellent food and service. You can play pool and listen to music. Family friendly too. Historic setting in Lake Hughes. Definitely worth a visit.

Upgrading to 3.5 stars, rounding up. Dear Hubby and I had a late breakfast, and wanted something not too heavy for lunch. It had been 4 years since our last visit to The Rock Inn. This time we arrived on a Saturday afternoon. Perfect weather to sit outside, which was good because it was full inside. We caught an empty table in the shade on the patio. We split a tri-tip sandwich, which turned out to be excellent. Extremely tender, flavorful meat on a fluffy but substantial steak roll provided tasty satisfaction. Mmm! On the downside, tater tots (with an upcharge!) weren't special at all. Our server never returned to check on our meal, so we didn't have the chance to ask for ketchup. Also, the side salad was a disappointment. Wanting some kind of vegetable besides potatoes, we went with salad. Should have passed.Back to the plus column - the peach pie is a true treat. It features one of the flakiest and most delicious pastry crusts I've ever sampled. Kudos to the baker, for sure!Service was spotty and slow, which pulled down the score. This is definitely a backroads / don't expect anything fancy kind of place. We are normally down with that, yet often these kind of establishments offer secret delights. I'd say that the tri-tip and peach pie qualify, but not our other choices.

We want to check up this place for long time but we never had chance to but today finally we did Fried food but fresh and decadent Bar was so beautiful and cool design . Price is decent too We enjoyed the time thank you

Have friends from all over California and whoever they come to visit the rock inn is a must stop. Our favorite motorcycle ride for a nice brunch and drinks with some amazing waitresses. They always make the experience fun and worth the drive

Holy goodness! We have NEVER had bad food or service! But tonight they outdid theirselves!!!! The ribs were fall off the bone! The creamed corn and beans were outstanding! The cherry pie was super fresh!

This place is really good: our favorite motorcycle ride !The ambiance is great, the food very good and the service even better: all the waitresses are very nice and helpful Amazing burgers and sandwiches for a fair price We generally go for lunch , but we want to go for dinner and try the prime rib dinner
