Where to begin, the menu changes which gives you more of a variety to choose from each time you go.Perfect for a group of people who like to share and try new flavors. Best part is the restaurant is operated by the students enrolled in the Foods and Nutrition Program at BC. Supporting these students achieve their goal is priceless! The service is great, loved the atmosphere as well. Not crowded or too loud so you can enjoy the food and visiting with your date.Tried the fine dining multiple times, and will continue to go back every chance I get.Recently tried the buffet. The Mediterranean theme was DELICIOUS! Walked away slowly with a food coma. Couldn't stop eating! Food was great, if you are into Mediterranean flavors.Take a peek at their menu, it is always different for fine dining and the buffet has different themes.Did I mention they do take out? YES, you can take the food to go! Try it! Support our BC students and enjoy the flavors while doing it!(More pics to follow)

My first trip to the Renegade Room! My friend and I were so jazzed! Buffet was French themed. We decided that we'd sample a little of everything to get the full effect. We got to BC early. Toured the campus. Waited outside the Renegade Room with a handful of other diners until they were ready for us. We were invited in and we were seated. Our server introduced herself and took our drink orders. On our table was an olive tapenade and small slices of bread. We were invited to join the line for the first buffet area. We had a green salad, croque monsieur and potato leek soup. I wasn't so much a fan of the salad. Something in it was grainy and made me think of dirty lettuce. I know it wasn't dirt, but the texture threw me off. Croque monsieur was tasty. How can you go wrong with a ham and cheese sandwich with cream sauce?! Finally, the potato leek soup was nice and creamy and had good flavor. During that first course, Brie en croute with sautéed onions and apples arrived. I took a big bite and tried to dissect all the flavors. The apples and onions were so earthy and went well with the whole thing, but I am not a fan of the rind on Brie. It was a little off putting to me. I ate another couple bites without the rind...so much better! After all that food, the main buffet started serving. French bread, green beans, a potato casserole, coq a vin and beef with beurre blanc. Yes, I took a little of everything. Coq a vin, chicken cooked in red wine with mushrooms and carrots, was my favorite! It was rich and flavorful and it's aroma filled the room. So good! After all that deliciousness, our server wanted to know if we wanted dessert. Omg! No! We ordered both desserts, crème brûlée and crepes Suzette, to try. The crepes weren't too exciting. Kind dry, but had a nice orange flavor. The ice cream helped with that dryness. The crème brûlée was the star! The custard was perfectly cooked and flavored. The sugar was browned and crisp. There was a definite cracking when I dipped my spoon in. I shared, but ended up eating most of it myself. Had I not been so full, I would've ordered more! The students/staff were so friendly and helpful. They all looked so proud of their work. They all did a great job! I'm hoping I get a chance to visit the Renegade Room again because it was such a great experience!

I love coming here for their lunch buffets. The restaurant is run by the culinary class on campus and the students take turns learning all the aspects of the restaurant business (waiter, server, etc). If you are part of the BC staff they will send out an email letting you know what will specifically be on the menu. For the rest of us they do have a menu online but it's pretty generic for the buffets (home comforts, Italian , etc )My wife and I usually go together a few times a semester and she also goes to lunch here with friends quite often. The food is great and cheap! For both of us to do the buffet it was 28$ not including tip. ( pro tip : I get water and save my carbs for food. All da gainz) The night we went was Italian. They had great soup , chicken, pasta , meatballs and dessert. Plus it's an awesome cause. Definitely recommend it. Appointments are suggested as these dinners fill up fast.

I had heard good things about this place , so I decided to try it out. I had buffet service western BBQ and it was great. This place is a hidden gem. Almost didn't want to give a review because the place already has a steady stream of customers.

Only eat here if you can 1) afford it & 2) desperateI have eaten at the Renegade Room twice in the past 2 weeks, both times were SEVERELY disappointing. I ordered the Chicken Cacciatore, which was $15. It had no flavor whatsoever, no salt, no garlic, no pepper, no onion, NO CONDIMENTS! I didn't know what this had, so I decided to do a google search and saw all the dishes had noodles and to my surprise the dish did not come with noddles. Don't even get me started on the ribs. They were dry, they were stuck to the bone which is false advertisement since they are considered, "fall off the bone." The dish came with Mac & Cheese, as well as Green Beans w/ Bacon. Mac was mushy, i didn't know if it was mash potatoes considering the consistency, where is the cheese? And again, WHERE IS THE FLAVOR? Also where is the bacon with these green beans? This is an absolute disappointment and I will never be spend my money here again. Also for my most recent order of the ribs, I had placed a pick up and when I went to go pick it up they had to change my order to "to-go" since they ran out of Ribs... Poor planning!

Just wanted to put it out there in regard to the 2 negative reviews: Please consider these are students learning and there's bound to be a hiccup now and then when posting your reviews. By dinning here, not only are you helping the students with 'on the job' training , you're also supporting a great cause!
