Just had brunch for the first time. Food and atmosphere were amazing. Have been there for dinner multiple times and the food, drinks and service is always excellent. They make amazing drinks and have a a nice selection and of beer and wine. If you are looking for a top notch experience with great food this is the place to go. They always update the menu and it never disappoints. This is a hidden gem in the AV. I highly recommend trying if you have never been here before! Best food and service hands down. Nothing compares- you won't be disappointed!

Food and service were amazing even on a packed Friday night! Loved the ambiance for the restraunt! The wait staff were very attentive and quick to provide anything we needed! The crafted drinks were amazing shout out to Kat! The food was beautiful visually which is important because you always eat with your eyes first! You can see the care and detail put into the food! Now the important part...... the taste! Everything was perfectly seasoned throughout! I highly recommend the carbonara for any of the pasta lovers out there the delicate balance of the dish is just , my fiancé loved the shares salmon and me being the one that doesn't eat seafood couldn't agree more that it was delicious! The dessert menu does change including some of the entrees but if you can help it I highly recommend the chocolate walnut brownies! Overall 10/10 been here twice for dinner and once for brunch on Sundays (Which also nails the mark) will be coming here mote often! Shout out to Chef Amalia and her staff!

This place is amazing! I almost didn't go but this week felt like 2 weeks in one. I needed space and time for me. I LOVED the whole vibe of The Raven's Nest. It was dim, the music was alluring and the customer service was impeccable. The hostess offered the bar once she found out it was just me. She was so sweet and made feel comfortable right away. I downloaded the menu and the bartender started a conversation with me by asking if I'd ever been. I asked her opinion on appetizers and mentioned I wanted something light. She offered the Beet Salad. So glad she did because it was not only beautiful but very refreshing. The beets were pickled but not too vinegary. The creamed goat cheese was incredible with it. The cucumbers added a nice crunch and the pickled red onions threw it over the top!I ordered a Crystal Ball to drink and the gentleman who took my order asked me if I like sweet drinks, which I don't, so he made it perfect for my taste. It was such a beautiful cocktail. My dinner was the sea bass. It was flaky, buttery, and tender. The green beans were crisp tender, absolutely perfect! This place is a gem! When you pay for your food, you're also paying for the atmosphere and the customer service. Any time I requested a box, they took my food and boxed it up for me. Even as I was leaving, and was waiting to use the restroom, one of the employees also waiting for the restroom asked me how my night was going. We talked about what he did there and good food and movies/tv shows about food (Chef, The Bear, etc). Such kind and helpful people at The Raven's Nest. I was taken care of the entire time I was there by multiple employees. Bravo! Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

Once upon a Wednesday dreary, wandering in a mood quite eerie,I, on business, found The Raven's Nest--a place that promised so much more.Late in evening I arrived, lamenting, every shadow there consentingTo whisper mysteries, unrelenting, as I passed through the darkened door.Decor drenched in spooky splendor, coldly welcoming to the core--But ah! Their food I'd yet explore.Amid the gloom, a feast awaited; I found myself quite captivated--Menus brimming, options tempting, rich and gourmet to the core.A barkeep there, dark yet knowing, with foreboding, charm bestowingA hint--my culinary bliss was glowing in squash soup and lobster lore. With potion mixed before my eyes, a spell for tastes I can't ignore--Never had I wanted more.Ladled soup like autumn's essence, ravioli rich, opulent presence,Awakening a depth of flavors that mortal tongues had yet implore. Each bite a journey, haunting, thrilling, each taste a soul in shadows filling,And yet I dared not keep fulfilling--lest I fall upon the floor. And so, a cannoli wrapped to go; no further dares would I explore--My gut, a haunted, sated core. And thus I left, heart full and sated, with spirits high, though breath abated,The Raven's Nest--a cryptic comfort, tempting on that darkened shore. And as I walked out through the haze, I felt a need to sing its praise,This eerie gem of gothic days, where flavors blend in shadowed lore.Should you seek a bite or brew with mystery and more in store,Visit--be haunted--evermore.

Because they don't take reservations the kitchen gets hit with a mass of orders when they open. So you wait a long time for food. Servers not well trained to understand when to bring salads and mains. Someone constantly topping off water - there's a better use of that persons time.Food - hit or miss. Lobster pasta good. Beet salad - beets had way too much vinegar not enough sugar in pickling liquid. Decor - a bunch of tables with cobwebs on the walls.Place is very busy as this goes well for locals tastes. If you are used to eating in LA it's not worth the drive.

Food is top tier. Both my wife and I were delighted with our orders. The 3 $ is accurate, expect to pay around $50/person without drinks.

I came here last night with a couple of girlfriends for the first time. I'm a resident of Quartz Hill and I had always heard that this place was cool and had good cocktails, but I didn't really know the aesthetic of the place. Like, I didn't know if it was exclusively for goth people or if it was like a 'Members Only' sort of place.I'm a huge fan of Halloween, so I enjoyed the decor and colors of the place. They had dim lighting and they were playing 'The Munsters' on a television in the main dining room, so I was pleasantly pleased upon entering. Since it was Friday the 13th, they had some specials that were going on. In terms of specials, they weren't necessarily discounted all that much from the normal pricing on the menu. We met one of the owners, Lenny, and he was running around all over the place. He was serving drinks, appetizers, and entrées, as well as attending to the bar. He broke down some of the questions I had for menu items that I was deciding between, and he was very sweet and attentive. I just had to give him a shout out because he was cool.I had a red wine sangria and a Caesar salad with anchovies added on it. Both my drink and my salad were absolutely delicious. It's an Italian themed menu, so they have different cuts of meat, pizza and pasta dishes- they even have angel hair. Yes, they are pricey, but I couldn't remember the last time I had a salad that good. I'll definitely be back.

Raven's Nest Gourmet Gothic is appropriately colored in mostly black & touches of blood red. A large grim reaper scythe planted against a wall, old school Munster video, imperial double headed heraldry, gigantic rosary, and a surreal plethora of black & white traditional wedding photos. We got there around 6pm Saturday, and it was standing room only filled with families & their young'uns. Nary anyone with black finger nails, dark makeup, massive tattoos, nor body piercings except a ranchero looking dude wearing a Resistol western hat with big ear plugs. As the evening wore on, mostly conventional couples came in as the families filtered out. "Goth food" here is mainly over the top, elaborately baroque in terms of putting together a lot of ingredients together on one dish. Very busy, and very fatty rich, but the food does work out in its own, inimitable, high cholesterol logic. 1) Excellent, four, large Hokkaidō Scallops & wild mushrooms seared to perfection came on two, separate rough scallop shells. It's a form of French Coquilles Saint Jacques in heavy Sauce Velouté cream sauce & good dose of very earthy, acidic, forest funky, black truffle oil. Lenny, our efficient, amiable waiter suggested crispy, toasted baguette slices to sop up the creamy sauce which was a great idea but at $10 for 6 small slIces. Restaurant policy here is sharp in trying to upgrade you. 2) FRA DIAVLO: "Brother Devil" is wide rather al dente originally dried in package Fettuccine/Tagliatelle pasta. Mélange of little chunks of lobster, shrimp, possibly clams & mussels but not in their shell. Rings of canned pickled Jalapeño. In a light white wine & fresh tomato sauce with a touch of piquancy. There might be a slug of rich virgin oil oil to thicken the mouthfeel. 3) 22oz BONELESS PRIME RIBEYE: Thick, grilled, boneless, fat marbled slab of medium rare beef which had a aged, beefy flavour. Texture is soft, plush, fatty, almost melt in your mouth. Garlic whipped butter which quickly melted on the steak. Small nibs of possibly fried, battered onion. Sauce Demi-Glace which seems enriched with butter. Grilled asparagus spears & firm boiled then grilled fingerling potatoes napped with a soupçon of parmesan & more black truffle oil. 1-3a) Potion 16Taurus Cocktail: Tequila, kumquat, mango, lime, spiked seltzer & butterfly pea flower. Slightly smoky, sweet-sour, acidic, touch medicinal bitterness & aromatics. Actual butterfly pea flower even dried is blue but no signs of blueness in the drink since it's mostly orange from the mango & kumquat. 4) FERRERO ROCHER TORTEChocolate hazelnut, dark chocolate ganache. Hazelnuts are concocted to make flavours mimicking this iconic chocolate confection from Italy. It lacks the crispiness of a Ferrero Rocher bon bon, but good in not being excessively sweet. The portions here tend to be huge so single diners need to bring plastic containers to take out for lunch the next day. Raven's Nest's decor & take on New American cuisine make for a most interesting dining experience in the high desert of the Antelope Valley. 4 stars
