The Patriot Bar

I've eaten here many of times and the food is always amazing. Hands down best place to eat in town. The service is amazing and prices are very reasonable. They also have some of the best entertainment in town i.e. micromania, comedy night, karaoke. I highly recommend this place even if you don't drink.

Where has this place been hiding for all my visits to Ridgecrest! Hubby (who grew up in RC) said that the town has long been needing this kind of place. It was a bowling alley once upon a time but it doesn't feel like the bar and restaurant were shoehorned it. It's a good flow from the bar to the tables with the pool area off to the side. The large open area was being used for a cornhole competition and there were high top tables around the edges for people to cheer on their teams.We did park in the back and walked all the way around to the front that faces the road to Trona. That one enters into the bar and Doja the Hostess with the Mostest came over to let me pet and adore her. Hubby & I walked up to the sign that said Stop Here and we did. I wish I could remember her name...but she was our server. She gave us a choice of places to sit and took our drink orders. Hubby had two Jack Sours which he enjoyed a lot. I had water...I had to drive us back to the Best Western. First - server took great care of us. She stopped by regularly but didn't hover to see if we needed anything.Second - food came out quickly and was so good. I had the grilled steak salad and they used a lovely mix of greens that were fresh. And the tomatoes were ripe. The grilled steak was perfectly medium rare, had a nice smoke ring, and solid beef flavor. Hubby had the French Dip and intended on only eating half but it was so good, he finished it. (note, the only green thing on that plate was the pickle and no fries or anything. And that's ok. The price was very affordable for all that delicious rib eye.)Third - I found the people there to be kind, polite, and fun. There were a lot of families and they were having a nice time as well.We exited the side entrance that takes you out to the patio, and then we went out the gate and walked back around to our car.We'll be back.

Family friendly * My family and I were looking for a burger before we headed out to the pinnacles to camp. We were greeted by the owner and he explained how they prepared their burgers. It sounded like they put a lot of love in it. We each got a build your own and my husband got the fried chicken sandwich with a side of fries. Everything was a 10/10 Very flavorful burger, my husband loved his sandwich. Our waitress went out of her way on many occasions and was so nice. Great experience all around. We will always make it a point to come back when driving through Ridgecrest.

The patriots bar was awesome. The burgers weren't cheap but are well worth it. The owner came over and explained the process of making the meat. Delicious. I'm a burger conisour and rarely eat out anymore but this was exceptional. I also have never had waffle fries that I liked until these. Light crisp on the outside and soft inside. And a coke was $2.00. After a day of digging for pink halite crystals in Trona, this was a welcome unwind.

Me and a coworker were in town to do some work on base. We had never been here before so we thought we'd try something new...and we wish we hadn't. The service was horrible, the owner of the place was sitting at the bar getting trashed and to top it off, me and my coworker both got food poisoning. We ordered different meals but both got chicken wings for appetizers, so I'm guessing it was bad chicken. Definitely won't be going back here!

From the exterior of the bar, it looked closed but once I found the correct door (facing the main street versus the rear / side parking lot) it ended up being a very nice establishment and had a good vibe about the place! The service was decent and the bartender & servers were all affable. The bar was well stocked with lots of choices. I tried a Thai curry wing and one teriyaki one as I had already had dinner and took the offer of a shared bite from a friend's order. Both were great! I'll definitely be back and will come in hungry next time and sample some more of their goods.

Bartender was great . Owner was at the bar drunk and disrespectful to the patrons trying to have a good time and minding their business. He was Rude, disrespectful and a loud mouth and definitely has metabolic syndrome. This place reminds me of an episode of bar rescue.

Only 3 stars because Day 1. Pulled pork sliders on point. The servers are kinda slow and tend to pay more attention to the locals but we got what we came for. We also tip very generously.Day 2. Regular food menu not available, just some short very specific menu.The attitude from the staff in general was 180 out from the first day. A crappy attitude will send me down the street to anywhere else real quick. We still tipped above average because that's what we do.

The waitress was very nice and attentive, but the owner (I believe, he was an overweight guy with a dog) was not pleasant. We heard him talking to another table, and he gestured toward our table saying our son looks like a douchebag. Two of our food items came out lukewarm. The other two were hot but nothing to rave about.

Came here for lunch and shoutout to Vanessa she was quick and attentive. I even mentioned this was the fastest we had ever been served here.We've been here a few times for dinner and it was always a long wait. The food is always good just takes forever.
