I'm not sure if they changed the cook, but it's different.First few times there everything hit!!! So I was hungry and went there again to eat and was sorely disappointed. Service is great, place is clean, but the food was not worth the money. First, home fries were undercooked with no flavor. There were no eggs in my huevos machaca, cold tortillas and burned tasting coffee. My daughter's bacon was also undercooked. When we said something our friendly waitress took back the bacon and had them cooked all the way, gave us hash-browns and frijoles so that we could Eat something. I think she could tell that I was frustrated. I took everything to go and recooked and seasoned the food. I'm going start cooking, but it's just sad when you spend your hard earned money on something that you can make at home yourself (and it is way better).

I came here for the first time. First thing I have noticed was stain on the ceiling panel. I was thinking that maybe that happened recently? I looked at the menu, price is kind of outrageous for the location. If you are charging more for the menu items than Pasadena, Ca, that's not acceptable. I ordered a chorizo con huevos burrito. There's no taste to it and she gave me ketchup packets. I never put ketchup on my burrito. I prefer 3 containers of pico de gallo. The service was ok. But I will not come back here. It doesn't worth to come here for the price or the tasteless food. ¡No bueno!

The food is good. Big portions, big enough to share or take home. The waitresses are amazing. they work their butts off. don't forget to tip.

Again, crowded and busy but delicious and excellent hard working food server. Always amazed at how fast and attentive the food service is when the crowds are so big. But the food is absolutely delicious

My partner and I ordered the chilaquiles and unfortunately they were my least favorite chilaquiles I've had in AV so far. We ordered them with over easy eggs and the eggs were well done. The red sauce was less of a red sauce (the way enchilada sauce usually is) and more of a chunky salsa, they also were definitely heavy on the salt to mask that there was not any real flavor to it. And the chips were just so soggy, at that point I don't know if the over easy eggs would have just hurt the dish even more. Also, it said it came with cheese, and in my head I'm thinking cojita cheese or queso fresco, but no. It was just melted cheddar cheese, also no crema, no cilantro. From what I'm told the other food is good, but if you're a chilaquiles person like myself, theirs are not worth it. The hash browns were really good though.

The most amazing service. We came for the first time and not only did they give us great service but they treated a gentleman in a wheelchair with the most love and kindness helping him with his straw and counting his change and every server knew his name and said good morning. We will come back just because of the service and the food is great and huge portions. And we can study the Bible after church in place that's open and warm.

This place deserve a million stars. Best breakfast I've ever had, make you want to lick your finger , that's how good it is, yummy. If you don't come here you're missing out. The waitress were awesome Susan was our waitress ,and she was amazing. We will be going back.

Lunch dates with Papa are always nice, especially when we get to eat local! Today we both ordered a burger, mine was the BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger, no bun. Also, the three meat omelette was ordered today. The restaurant was clean and cool, as it always is! Suzanna was a great server, and attentive to our needs. There's always too much food for the price, but boy is it worth it!

This morning I was at Karens Kitchen in Quartz Hills 50th St West, with my wife, we left here disappointed, there is no good service, and the food is not very good, and when they gave us our bill, they automatically charged $2 dlrs extra for the high price of the eggs! The waitress never let us know that they are charging that! I don't recommend this place here!

This place is one of my favourites. It doesn't matter if you're going for breakfast or lunch this place is great.The portions are huge, so be prepared to get two meals in one .You will be taking her to go home with you .Great food never disappointed Chicken and waffles is one of my favourites and the country steak and gravy both are delicious.Service is good and the ambience is pleasant .
