The Learning Experience - Bakersfield

My little one has been at TLE for the last 2 years and overall we've had a positive experience. Thank you again for all the love, nurturing, growth, and encouragement you all provided to my daughter. Especially to Miss Atlantis and Miss CJ...mornings were most difficult for my her and they were always nothing but patient and loving towards her at drop off. I know a crying kid, especially in the morning can be rough but they always modeled calmness and encouraged and redirected her to something more productive. Thank you

OMG!!! This place is amazing. My child just turned 3 the second week of joining the kids here. He was hesitant at first and had a little separation anxiety but after a couple of weeks he's been doing wonderful at drop off with his teachers miss Autumn and miss Alice. They now been serving lunch and snacks and have opened up our son's world of many different foods. They always keep me updated through the day with photos of our child and his progress. I also like how I can drop off my son and have the ability to see if he was ok after I left on the directors office camera. I also can tell they have put extra effort in child and staff safety. I 100% definitely recommend this school for anyone looking for child care!

This place is absolutely amazing! All of the staff is so loving and kind to both of my children. I have noticed a growth in both my children and they are happy to attend school everyday. The staff greets my children with love and hugs everyday. The facility is clean and all the staff seem so happy to be working there. The environment is friendly and welcoming and their curriculum is fun and interesting for my children. I would definitely recommend this place, it is worth every penny!

Where to even begin....WE LOVE TLE!! We brought my 13 month old son here and from the beginning they were courteous and inviting. As a first time mom I wanted my son to have the best possible experience at school and be cared for the way he was at home and I definitely found that here. I was nervous to drop him off every morning since I knew it would upset him, but after a week of crying (for about a minute after drop off), he now reaches for the teachers and waves me goodbye. I can't thank the teachers enough for making the transition for myself and my son as easy as possible. They truly do care for your children and treat them as their own. My son comes home on a weekly basis learning things that I know I haven't taught him and it's amazing to see how much he's grown. He's currently in the infant room and TLE has been gracious enough to bring into the toddler room a few days a week to help transition him to "the big kid room". They also send you updates constantly throughout the day on what they are doing/learning, eating, diaper changes, and nap schedules. The pictures I get melt my heart every time. Before starting TLE his doctors had told me he was underweight and as much as I would try to feed him, he would just not eat much at home. He comes to school and now eats EVERYTHING. He's gained almost 2 pounds in a month and I couldn't be happier to see his progress! The school is a bit on the pricier side for the area, but you absolutely get what you pay for and I'm happy to pay their prices so that my baby can experience this wonderful school everyday.

My child started late June and so far so good. I love the parent app, they update you frequently on what your child is doing: assignments, play time, diaper changes, potty training progress, nap times, meal times and what was eaten. They include pictures and time stamps. The school is BRAND NEW so the beginning was mostly the kids getting used to their new environment (it was an adjustment for us as parents too) but as time has gone on the kids have really fallen into routine and now all the curriculum has started. My child had some speech delay before he started but his language skills are really starting to develop. He was only comfortable with one teacher and clung to her for the first couple of weeks but now he's warmed up to the other teachers and aids and has been very interactive with everyone. We especially love the water play days on their outdoor playground that's equipped with water features. Their safety features also make us feel very secure, it's our first time putting one of our children into a daycare program and so far we couldn't be happier!

This center is definitely one of the best I have been a part of as a parent. I've been to and also worked at other centers before and although the same principles and values are supposed to be applied; TLE actually makes it happen. The quality of care that they put into the activities and projects have been super amazing and visibly effective by the second week of my child attending. I will be very sad to leave due to personal reasons, but hope to come back once their new location is open. You can't put a price on the type of care and constant communication they provide. It's much more valuable to me as a mom than just someone to watch my child. They provide great services.

My daughter has been enrolled at the learning experience for about a year now and the four teachers she's had really made such an impact on our day to day life. when she transitioned over to the toddler class Mrs.Torie and Mrs. Autum really showed my daughter what true teachers and true love and compassion was. If it weren't for these two we would be totally lost. Thank you guys for all that you do!!

Any child would be lucky to receive as much love away from home as these young children receive at The Learning Experience in Bakersfield. The educational program is outstanding as well as the way the teachers implement the program. The appreciation for each child's unique development is always considered as well as each individual child's development. I am unaware if a greater place for my grandchildren to learn , live and grow in Bakersfield exists. The Director and her assistants assistance, and the entire teaching staff are very respected by this community and professionals in Early Education!

The absolute best preschool for my son, The staff and his teacher miss mayra are the best. My son and i are always greeted at the door. Couldnt ask for a better preschool.

My son started here the day it opened, and we absolutely loved it. The app had issues but it was to be expected the first couple of weeks. The summer went great but something really changed once the school year started. They were always short staffed and the communication sucked. The app worked but I hardly ever got updates. And we pay a lot of money for that. My son had some behavior issues (possible ADHD) and the director was always willing to work with us on that. She was great. The assistant director never had a smile on her face and that always bothered me. She was not very friendly. I had to pull my son after being told multiple times he needs more one on one care. Getting calls to come pick him up every day became very inconvenient. If your child has any behavior issues or is special needs, I do not recommend this place. They will not be able to accommodate you. We did love the curriculum though and his teacher, and we do miss it a lot.
