Pork Chop-amazing
The best thing on the menu is the ribeye. Make sure to get the chimichurri sauce on the side because it's a bit overpowering.
Beautiful butter and bread
Dinner starts with complementary Parmesan rolls.
The tuna poke is the best appetizer here.
A decently cooked breast of chicken with overcooked asparagus and OK potatoes.
Salmon
The pork chop is a really nice double cut. A bit mild in flavor. It's served medium.
Chocolate Torte
Wrapped Dates
Filet-cooked perfect
Salmon
Yummy
a plate of spinach salad

We ate here for lunch yesterday to take a break from the eateries at The Ranch. No one was around at noon on a Monday. We ordered1) turkey sandwich with fries 2) chicken burger with fries 3) brisket quesadillas 4) salad Everything actually tasted great. It was the best meal out of the 3 meals we had inside Death Valley. We also ate burgers and food at the Ice Cream Parlor and White Rose Tavern, which were all not as good as this place.

What an Awesome place in the middle of nowhere!! The service was great , from check in to checkout. We originally was staying one night, but changed to two after our first great day. Joe at the bar is Awesome. Mike, Andrew and Gary in the restaurant.. awesome, I like how the whole restaurant worked as a team. The pictures don't do justice to the food, every meal was delicious! Highly recommend stopping by.

I thought that this needed to be added so that The Inn at Death Valley could be separated from the restaurants that are at the inn. The rating of all three are different for me and wanted to separate them for fairness and clarity for anyone deciding to visit the beautiful place. Read all the way to the bottom. The Inn Dinning Room was not worth eating dinner at for us. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful but seams to be over worked waiting tables for breakfast and dinner. In all fairness I imagine it is hard to find people to work there for any amount of time due to the remote location. The wine list was fairly decent and had no complaints there. My wife had the Chipotle Basil Pesto Pasta and just really didn't like it. I had the Grilled Salmon and when I asked the waitress if it was fresh she just laughed and said " no we are in Death Valley". I gave it a shot anyway and figured for $56 it should be good, fresh or not. My best description of it is cafeteria food. Not only was is not fresh fish it was not freshly made, like it had been sitting under a heat lamp drying out. It was our understanding that the pork chops were good and the steaks looked fine. Ok that was dinner now on the breakfast. With all that said about dinner we were very pleased with the breakfasts. They were freshly made to order with good flavors and very good service. The portions were very good size and we split ours and were plenty full enough for the hikes ahead and for the price it was much better that the buffet breakfast at Furnace Creek.

Lunch was reasonably priced (for California). Appreciated posting the menu up front. Ordered the inn burger and the pork quesadilla. The burger patty was cooked perfectly. The sweet potato fries is excellent. Everything else is good. A good stop in the middle of the park. Great environment. Nice bathroom and free wifi.

Food was very mediocre, and the service was even worse. I'm probably not gonna go back to this place again. However, maybe other people have different experience.

We recently spent a few days at the Inn at Death Valley and enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately, the hotel's dining room was far below expectations. Here's some background. The hotel was fully booked. It has only 1 restaurant. The only other eatery within 50 miles is a cafeteria. Hotel guests are urged to make reservations . When we arrived the dining room was about 1/3 full. After a fairly long wait, our server appeared. He acted as though he was doing us a favor by helping us out. Not much in the way of helpful info about the menu selections. We asked to give us a few minutes to "study" the menu. He disappeared into the kitchen and finally reappeared about the time we decided we were no longer hungry.I ordered the prime filet and my wife the short ribs. Both were served barely warm - strike one. Both were tough and dry and not flavorful. We cut our losses and skipped dessert.BAD, BAD, BAD
