The House of Moseley

We were at one of our favorite shopping centers Tuesday, the Town and Country Village at Coffee & Stockade. The plan was grab a couple items from Trader Joe's then go next door and drop off 2 watches at Knights Jewelry for batteries. The hard part was finding a parking spot, 2 days before thanksgiving, what was I thinking. I did 2 laps searching before my prayers were answered, one opened up like the Red Sea and it was ours before anyone could beat me to it. Trader Joe's, looked great, flowers and wreaths adorned the entrance.the store was packed everyone was smiling customers and workers very festive. We only needed 2 items we were in and out in 5 minutes no waiting in lines all registers were open love that store. Knights Jewelry was next, we were buzzed in and greeted by owner Brian Knight, been coming here for years beautiful one of a kind exquisite jewelry and quality trustworthy service. Brian said he'd replace batteries now if we didn't mind a short wait no problem. We stepped out to look around the Town and Country Village they always doit right here. The Christmas Tree lighting ceremony with Santa kicks off the season in grand fashion. One store that really stood out and says Christmas beautifully is the House of Moseley. The decorative holiday entrance brings a smile to your face as you enter. Quality exquisite one of a kind holiday decorations will make your day. Friendly decorators are happy to assist and make suggestions . The store is full of truly unique hand crafted quality holiday decorator items. Plan on spending a little extra time to find your items or that special gift. It was a pleasure to shop at House of Moseley. We were at the H.O.M. store at least 20 minutes. Brian at Knights already had our batteries replaced our watches were cleaned and time & set. Town & Country Village parking was a little tough but well worth the extra time Check out all the fine shops in the Town & Country Village you'll have a grand time

I have been to the house Moseley 4 times. I have loved all the items I have bought there, including a beautifulMirror. The staff have always been so kind and helpful. Some of the items are overpriced or too expensive, however they are unique.

I went into this store for the very first time on the weekend, after I began following it on Instagram. I wanted three specific items they had posted and was greeted right away when I walked into the shop. I said I was looking for specific towels and the employee asked how many. Then, she said she would get to new packaged towels from the back for me, which was a thoughtful. I quickly found the wallets, selected a card holder, then asked about the Peepers. They did not have the kind I wanted, but she would suggest that they order more of the non-prescription blue light filtering glasses. Overall, it was a good experience. I'm looking forward to returning and taking more time to browse.

I've come into your store twice now to purchase items since I just moved to Bakersfield. The little girl working at the desk has been unnecessarily rude and inconsiderate while I was looking around both times. I was just there to buy this item and others for my mother's birthday. I will not be returning to your store again. Yes, you have beautiful products but the problem is your main worker needs to work on her mannerisms. Yes, I'm tattooed and it's my day off. I may not look like a Barbie right now because I have a toddler and it's our errand day. However, you do not treat customers the way she has twice now. Every time I took a step anywhere she tried to cut me off, stepped in my way or stared at me rudely like I was in her way when I was just trying to look at items to purchase. Aren't you supposed to let your customers shop without trailing them or making them move for you every five seconds? I major in communication studies, maybe your company should think about sending your worker to a customer service class to learn how to properly communicate and work with the public. Super disappointed.

Let me start by saying, if I could give this company 2.5 stars I would. It is a nice store inside and they have a lot of nice decorations available. I think everything is overpriced.All of the sales reps are very nice and personable. In general they mark up their custom furniture prices and insane amount. Furniture stores that carry the same companies charge about 25% less and include freight. HOM was willing to price match, however I have a feeling they were dishonest with us regarding a few matters and did not order our piece when they said they would. And I believe they ordered it about two weeks later when we checked on the progress of our order, and gave us reasons that sounded like bold faced lies.I don't mind people messing up but I don't care for dishonesty. I hope when they see this review they take it as a chance to grow, because I think this store has a lot of potential.

I love this store!!! It has something for everyone.....I travel Los Angeles/Central Valley and the Central Coast for my job and I can easily say this is one of the best shops around. The variety of items you find and the wonderful staff make it a destination!!!Love love love Moseley's.

I love Moseley's. I always tell my friends and co-workers how beautiful the store is. However, recently I have had 4-5 people tell me they have gone into the store on my recommendation and have been treated poorly by the sales people. They made them feel uncomfortable and they were just rude. I don't think I will recommend my friends and co-workers anymore. It makes me sad because it is such a lovely place to shop especially during the holidays. Iam sad.I only wish they would treat all customers with respect and friendliness.

I have loved this place for years. The service is great. They have suggested perfect products for my home. I have remodeled a bathroom through them and it's perfect. They're great

So cluttered. Overpriced, and I was encouraged by an employee to remove my mask. If they don't want to wear a mask that it fine but please don't overstep others comfort level.
