Plant based options on buffet! Broccoli, green beans, eggplant, zucchini, bell peppers, cabbage, mushrooms, tofu....works for me! Some of these were taken from the meat-based dishes, broccoli taken from the beef & broccoli. The meat-eaters should be happy with the remaining meat-to-vegetable ratio. Red bean sesame balls for dessert. Decent meal overall.

I've given the new owners plenty of chances. This time, I decided to dine in instead of getting takeout to see if the quality had improved. Unfortunately, the soup was terrible, filled with gristly meat, and the broth tasted like water rather than chicken. They barely gave any sizzling rice. I didn't even eat the soup. My son said the buffet was decent and ate it, but to me, everything looked unappetizing. I'm done. This was the last chance for the new owners to make things better. Sadly, you can't get sizzling rice soup at any other restaurant in Tehachapi. For really good food, I have better luck in Palmdale or Santa Clarita.6/9/24

Great place to take the family. The buffet is very tasty. The service is outstanding! The ambiance fits right for the food type being served, nice place!

Always a pleasure to eat there, I use the buffet, the choices are many. The service is fast, and always good. There are deserts to choose from and beer if you want. I consider the prices reflect the good food, a cheaper meal can be found, as well 5 years ago everything was cheaper, so to me, prices are great. Have been going there about 8 yrs. and plan to continue going there for years to come.

For being a small town buffet, it def has better food options than the panda. I enjoyed everything I ate. The young man is very attentive and nice. i like the calm and quietness. food is warm tho. i guess i like my food hot. lolthe dessert selection could be improved but i do love their sugar buns ! overall small place great food. even their take out option is a great deal! $20 and i filled my box up!

I wanted to update my review.I went back to try the buffet again due to learning that their were new owners. People on Nextdoor said it was much better. So, I thought I'd give it a try.The buffet was much improved. There was a variety of foods and they were well prepared and tasty. It is not as big as it was before Covid but very good.I will definitely be a regular customer again.

Me and my fiancé came up to visit my family and decided to go out to eat and she wasn't too hungry so we were just going to share a plate so we came in sat down never got asked for any drinks and the waiter waited for her to put the food almost in her mouth and got mad and flipped out and made her cry also orange chicken is like chewing on a flavored rope will never come back

The Great Wall tastes just like a home-cooked meal after a long journey. The food is hearty, the owners generous and kind, and after a tiring road trip, the whole experience re-energized us for the rest of our drive. Loved the lo mein and sautéed mushrooms. Highly recommend!

Food is so gross here. I keep coming from time to time thinking they will develop a touch of pride and improve their standards but seriously the owners should be ashamed of themselves.

The prices are ridiculous and the food is awful. Went sometime last year and it was OK, now just terrible. $18.95 for a chicken dish that looked like it had been sitting around somewhere for a while. Sweet and sour shrimp burned beyond recognition and lots of pieces of fried batter with no shrimp in them. Barbeque pork fried rice last time was big and fluffy with nice, fresh pork pieces. Now it's one third the size and all greasy and pork looks days old. Not going back. Major rip off for the money they charge and non existent customer service.
