The Craft House Inn

Awesome! It was a perfect getaway for 2 parents and our little 18 month old. The entire space was thoughtfully and expertly put together. Check-in & Check-out was very easy with clear written instructions with pictures.

My new spot in Santa Barbara! Love everything about this stay. Stylish, customer service, ease...they've done an excellent job here. Great location and accommodating. Look forward to my next night here. Humberto was the best!

This truly was an awful experience. I hate to write this review, especially with it being the first Yelp review for this property. I reserved and PAID IN FULL for a room through Booking.com and immediately received a confirmation number and receipt from both Booking and Craft House Inn. Additionally, Craft House Inn sent me three text messages confirming my stay, welcoming me, and information for checkout. Pretty solid, right? Not quite...About 5 minutes before me arriving to Craft House Inn I receive a phone call stating that they needed to cancel my reservation because they were all booked up. Oh, the frustration. I thought I'd be over it by now, but I'm not. I even tried to sleep this off, but I can't. What was supposed to be a relaxing time away has become stressed to the nines just trying to receive a refund AND having to pay for another place to stay. Not only am I spending my time and energy now trying to receive a refund, but I was also stuck trying to scramble for a new place to stay at 8 o'clock in the evening after driving over 3.5 hours through Los Angeles traffic. Perhaps recommendations for other places would've helped, but I was simply met with a "We're so sorry. The visitors in your room decided to extend their stay." If that's the case, kindly please take your listing down. When I asked about a refund, I was told to contact Booking. Granted, I understand that. But for the sake of this mix up falling on the property, you'd think they'd have the decency to help me liaison through Booking. Unfortunately again, that wasn't the case. I understand that this is a new business that is perhaps still building their policies and practices. However, listing a room of this caliber and price that's not available is beyond unacceptable for the hospitality industry. Sometimes I'm asked if I'd give reviews a 0 star rating. And I state that. But this is a SOLID 1 star as Humberto did call me 5 minutes before arriving to the property And I didn't actually get to stay or see the property. With all that said, would I stay here? Probably not. Effective communication is something I highly value and it appears that this management clearly lacks it. Stay tuned to see if I actually received my refund

Such a cute place to stay! Very quiet and homey. Communicative and friendly staff. Beautiful remodeling of an old craftsman house. Would definitely stay here again!

The home is lovely, very clean and well stocked.Kitchen and bathroom amenities were perfect. The backyard was private and very attractive. Parking for 5 cars was great. Location was incredibly walkable for downtown. Humberto was easy to work with. Beautiful remodel of an old craftsman home.

My husband and I stayed at The Craft House Inn for a quick overnight in SB. The house is beautiful, Humberto kept in touch the whole way making sure everything was going well and we had everything we needed, our room was perfect, and the bottle of wine left for us in the room was delicious! We couldn't have picked a better place to stay. We will definitely be back!

Perfectly lovely inn. The host is super responsive and provided me a new pillow that had less loft, and I slept great. Everything is very clean and well designed. Nespresso coffee for the morning. Beautiful kitchen and dining room in case you wanted to cook in. The entry and porch are beautifully landscaped; we hung out there waiting for our Uber and it was super pleasant. Most of all, I loved that it was quiet. And there were other guests staying, but we have peace. Very nice. I'd definitely stay again, and maybe bring friends to sell out the whole house and be able to order the Ploughman's breakfast which looks amazing.

The home was nice and well maintained. When we arrived it was clean however the home had a faint smell like an animal or a dog was living there. Come to find out the next day that another house guest had a dog with them. Our room was clean and nice. The bathroom was excellent, updated and was the best part of our stay. The only improvements in the room were the curtains were fixed and there was no way to adjust, there was a large gap at the bottom of our entrance door which let in a lot of noise, and lastly a couple extra towels could have been provided in the room. We enjoyed the outdoor backyard, kitchen and the parking was very convenient. Overall it was nice however because of the pet smell would not stay again.

The Inn is beautifully decorated, and the location was quiet. Humberto responded to my message about the room temperature right away and immediately made the adjustment that I requested. I highly recommend this inn for its style, contactless checkin and checkout, and location.
