I have been purchasing from the Bulk Yard for over 20 years, now. They have great service and good prices on bulk landscaping.

So this is my second time here the first was to bring my son to see what smoker he was contemplating on for his Bday....they informed us that the new Green Mountain daniel boone prime plus was on order and the last prime they had was already spoken for so I put my name on the waiting list and off we went...lol my son literally asked me every day "did they call? did they call?" No child they didn't i'm sure they will soon....then today Jacob called and said well the guy never showed for the one last prime and i said ok i'll take it!! Off i went super nice people here and they had the pellets he asked me to get so another plus. I paid and went on with the rest of my busy day and within the hour he called and said ok were delivering it now if it's ok ummmm yes!!! Then i thought oh crap i'm not home my son is and the freakin house is a MESS!!! Hahhahaha oh well Tina Sh*t happens clean the house later and make your sons day with his smoker!!!! So sorry for the messy house guys :)....My son said they were awesome brought it in and to the backyard gave him some pointers about the smoker and his happy ass was ready Lol...Oh yea i'm expecting some bomb meat from this thing very soon hehehe....Thank you guys for awesome service and a great product!!

Best prices in town!! We needed pea gravel for a backyard project, so we gave them our measurements and they calculated how much gravel we needed... looking back I would have rounded up and ordered more, but hey it covered the area and overall we were happy... just remember, they sell in bulk, so don't try to bring a 5 lb bucket and have them fill it, they won't do it! ....we tried

I really wanted to like this place, and I did at first. I got a nice smoker from here. I went in seven days ago, from the date of this review and purchased bird bath brine. It was $9.95. I went in seven days later to purchase another bag, the price shot up to $15.95. I don't believe in this type of price gouging especially during the holidays, Thanksgiving 2020, and during a time when people are having to watch their pocket books during this pandemic. I am disappointed in this business and expected better.

When it comes to soil, compost, or any other ground covering, I come to The Bulk Yard. Don't even bother going to the big box stores and buying your garden soil. On this particular day we needed some green compost to add to our garden soil. Other stores charge anywhere between $15 and $20 for an 8 gallon bag. We were able to get an entire truck bed full for $20 even. The quality even beats that of the bagged stuff. Any kind of bulk items you need, The Bulk Yard has. Even crushed granite and pavers - just about everything is here.It's pretty convenient off Rosedale Highway - just turn in to the left of Casa Mexico and head on back to the sales office. The only issue may be if you don't have access to a pickup truck....HA! Nevermind - you're in Bakersfield. What was I thinking...

good people ready to help you right away. They have very good assembles of rock inside their office so you don't have to walk around the yard. They also carry barbecue grills and a lot more stuff. Recommend to stop by and take a look.

Purchased gravel for our recently constructed pool, really enjoyed the different type of gravel they carry. The delivery fee was fair and delivered on the day I requested. If you're looking for landscaping ideas for all DIYers out there you should check this place out.

Best place for landscaping materials. Found them a few years ago and have been here a few dozen times. Fast, straightforward service, and good value.

Great employees. Readily available to assist you and a wealth of good advice to help a DIY'er. They delivered on time and the driver was very pleasant.
