The BLVD

Simply put, I believe The BLVD is Bakersfield's version of LA's Lucky Strike. With food and drink variances, the concept is practically the same. One can opt into certain packages that includes bowling, food and access to a private lounge. We celebrated my kid's 16th birthday party and I decided on the Extreme Adulteen package for $290 (not including taxes, service charge, and any other add-ons). This package does include: 1.5 hours of bowling, choice of one food option (went with chicken sliders), unlimited side (fries), unlimited sodas (up to 3 kinds), a party host, and a $15 game card for 10 guests. I thought it was a good price point for the service and the food quality we received that day.The party host we got was Mo. She was excellent! Courteous and diligent, she set-up the area in advance, got food out nicely and all the shoes for the bowlers. She also was on hand pretty much the entire duration of the party for any additional requests, like alcoholic drinks (not included in the package). Without even a second thought, she even offered to put up a screen to shield the other side from our view to make the event space even more private.Mackenzie was the event assistant who helped me with all my questions about the packages, add-ons, and contract leading up to the event. She was excellent as well. The only reason I'm giving the BLVD a 4rating is because of the rude, young guy at the cashier desk (curly hair with glasses). Upon checking in, which we did well in advance of the start time, he got pissy with me because he was looking at an old list for the parties booked. He dared to argue and insist that my name was not on the list even though I showed my contract copy on my phone. Without even reading it, he was not helpful at all. The event manager finally came out of the office. She literally had to tell him that the list he was looking at was not even the right date. Dude definitely needs a lot more coaching or better yet, he needs to be in an area where he's not dealing with customers because he doesn't know the first thing about CS. A very stark contrast from the service I received from both party host and event coordinator/asst.

Happy hour specials are okay, beers are cheap but you only get $2 off certain items! The hummus WAS A HUGE portion and I loved it but they did give me some soggy cucumbers so I could tell they were old. The burger has a sauce that made it sweet so not a favorite. The wontons were so crispy but I wish they gave more. Our server was so fun and refilled our drinks and took our order when we asked for more food. We love bowling here.

Been here a couple times. Only tried the food once though, the asada fries which were honestly really good. Never been to the bar area so can't really comment on that. They have a couple of arcade games which are kind of standard kid of like a Chuck E. Cheese. They do offer laser tag and bowling as well. Tried the laser tag a couple of times and honestly really fun, you do have to wait a while time a staff member opens it up though. The staff is friendly and our waitress was really nice. She checked up on us several times. Never had an issue here kinda pricey but I mean what isn't.

The BLVD is such a fun place to hangout with family, friends, and significant others. It's a massive entertainment spot where you can bowl, play pool, do arcade games, etc! They even have a full sized restaurant and bar! I always have a blast whenever I come here. I went bowling with my brother and for an hour it was $30 (for a weekday bowling from open to 5 pm). We also had to pay an extra $5 each for the bowling shoe rentals and another $5 each for socks (ridiculous pricing but also we were dumb to forget socks). Nonetheless, it was a really fun experience! My brother has been wanting to go back again :)

Fun place to spend an afternoon with some games, food, and drinks . I'm in it for the pinball. The food is pretty good for an arcade. The service in the restaurant was great on our last visit, but service in the bar area is hit or miss.

We recently had a party here and it was great! The food, the service, and price were unbeatable! Great Value and lot's of fun!

We took the kids to yet another birthday party here. (Sheesh this place is popular for kids parties). We come here often and I had about 13 cards with various amounts of tickets/credits on them. We hadn't been here since probably before Covid hit so a few things have changed. I like that they have actual games and not so many ticket games. You know the ones that just get you tickets but have absolutely no skill or anything involved. The kids had a blast playing everything from laser tag, to bowling and redeemed most of their points for a Hello Kitty snow globe. The hubby and I indulged in some drinks. We tried the watermelon mojito which was delicious with its bits of mint and melon pieces, but expensive. Especially since it barely had any alcohol in it. Everything was great and we will most definitely return for some laser tag once the triple digits go away!

BLVD is a fantastic spot for entertainment and fun, perfect for celebrating special occasions like birthdays. I recently celebrated mine there with family, and we had an amazing time bowling. It's a venue that caters to all ages, making it enjoyable for everyone.They offer deals throughout the week, and the Monday combo of bowling and pizza is unbeatable. The value for the price is excellent, and the overall experience left me looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommended for a fun and memorable time!

Went to The Blvd for the first time and had a great time and enjoyed the food. The staff is friendly and always checks that you have drinks and whatever you want. We ordered the 6-piece bone-in wings with chili-lime sauce, the Haggard Burger, the taco salad, and the Sunrise Burger. All the food was delicious. The burgers came with tots and they were crunchy and soft on the inside. I hope to go back soon and try more items fromTheir menu. Enjoy!

Came in for lunch and they must be short staffed as they were not seating in the dining area only up by the bar and bowling. I shared the other end of a table with another solo person already eating because I wanted a booth. It looked like one server and everyone else was wearing non identifiable clothing. The food was good and the portions were good. I am just having such a hard time with this Lunch special" being $15 and the worst part is I dont think they are way out of the price range. 4 stars today was for service. Can't be perfect every day.
