The Barnyard at Match Point Grill

The salad here was good and included chicken, ham, and tri tip so it filled me up. I'm not a fan of spring mix greens but I would def try it again and sub for Romaine, if possible. The pickup order was fast, which is usually not the same for the other location. It was located inside the racquetball club so it was nice inside. I would recommend trying this place out if you like the other location.

The waitress was so attentive, friendly and nice! I would come back just for the amazing service, but the food was delicious as well, so good, and fresh!We were here on our lunch hour and the food came out so quick! This place is the best and is marked as a comeback spot for all the staff at our company now! Can't wait to come back!

Chef salad is on point. This will be one of my new favorites when craving salad.Ham, Turkey, tri tip, and bacon yum.It comes with hard boiled eggs, but I chose to leave that option off.Defiantly can't go wrong with this salad.

The staff here is very friendly and attentive.I recommend the Turkey Sandwich but swap the bread for the toasted ciabatta bread that the Bakersfield Best Burger usually comes on, it's light and easy to bite into with slightly crisp ends. Add fresh California avocado for $1.00 and you are set.Each item "from the barn" comes with a side. I highly recommend Sweet potato waffle fries and the waitress let me in a special secret side: honey. I will never go back to asking for ketchup or ranch for my sweet potato fries. This was like eating desert. Soooo good.

I never expected this place to be such a gem of a find! It's located at the entrance to the Bakersfield Racquet Club. It's a great lunch spot with a variety of menu items ranging from hot/cold sandwiches, salads, and burgers. The price is very reasonable and the portions are generous. There is also an adorable outdoor seating area.

The shrimp tacos on the evening menu are absolutely to die for. I seriously wouldn't buy shrimp tacos anywhere else. These beat La Fonda's by a landslide. The service and quick and speedy and nothing short of welcoming. Great ambiance as well, nice environment to chill and catch up

Just had breakfast at Bakersfield Racquet Club home of The Barnyard at Match Point Grill. I ordered Huevos Rancheros topped with Chile verde. It was delicious, The tortillas was topped with Black Bean spread with over medium eggs covered with a nice tasty rancheros sauce. I added Chile verde and the pork chunks were nice and tender with a flavorful but mild Chile verde sauce. I would highly recommend having breakfast here. I'll be back to try their homemade hash for lunch!

What a pleasant surprise. Tucked away in the courtyard of the Bakersfield Racquet Club is a delightful and yummy treat. Diverse menu, terrific food and a wonderful staff. The owner is for the most part a one person show, waiting and bussing tables while cooking and serving. She was pleasant, attentive, informative and on time with everything. We seated ourselves, didn't wait long for menus to be delivered and drink orders taken. She quickly returned with our drinks, politely answered all of our menu questions, took our order and was off. Our food arrived in a very reasonable time and was great! Three of us, a burger with really good homemade onion rings, a turkey and avocado sandwich on a ciabatta roll with sweet potato fries and a nice salad. All were excellent. Well prepared and well presented. I thoroughly enjoyed my stop for lunch and will definitely visit again.
