That Smash Stack

So good I forgot to take pictures! It's hard finding a true smash burger in town yet one that's delicious and this place nails it. Got a double smash combo and blueberry lemonade. Delicious 10/10 exceeded our expectations. Everything's made fresh to order. Definitely check this truck out

Food trucks have boomed in the last several years and this one has to be one of the newest trucks in town. I'd say they're about the same price as a restaurant now but they're cooking each thing to order and they don't miss a beat at this joint. The fries, I was told beforehand were over seasoned but I believe they either worked that out or they just didn't know what they were talking about because their fries were perfectly crispy and seasoned to perfection. They also give you a ton of fries with each order. The burgers were smashed to perfection and were also crispy on the edges and it just came out to be a nice juicy smash burger. Larger than most places who do smash burgers, so I believe for your money you're not only getting a good deal but you're getting what you pay for. They're located on the corner of Calloway and Rosedale, with all the other food trucks and hopefully they get that place figured out because there are a lot of good options for your food truck cravings. We will be returning to The Smash Stack here soon.

Gotta say, this is a very tasty n juicy burger. I tend to ignore the fries but these are near perfect. Excellent balance seasoned and fried. Extra pickles just right. Just be careful because both the burger and the fries are captivating. These guys really take their time to prepare a delicious burger combo. Will definitely be back soon.Cheers

I was very surprised to see how this food truck area at the southwest corner of Rosedale and Calloway was decorated. So much effort on part of the owners to make it welcoming, comfortable and fun! The huge, real Xmas tree was impressive!We were happy with the two places we tried. Especially That Smash Stack! The double burger was really delicious! The bun was soft and ever so slightly sweet, it was juicy from the pickles, sauce and cheese. The burger did have crunchy, crispy edges. The house made blueberry lemonade was sweet and tart. I really liked it even though it was $8. My husband loved the fries, thin, crispy, salty.

Was craving a burger but wasn't sure where to go. So I jumped on yelp and looked up some places this place caught my eye. The hamburger was pretty good but was a bit greasy never had a smash burger before but maybe that why. The burgers were quick for service and wasn't that long of a wait. The loaded fries were in a kinda like a meal prep container if you want you can wash it out save it for something else. The lemonade was hand made you can tell it wasn't store bought. They only had a few selections of drinks. Because their ice chest got stolen sucks when you can't have nice things. But the place is a very good atmosphere they have heaters around if you want to stay near by or just eat in your car like me. But I'll go back and try it again but I would recommend this place to someone who craving a smash burger.

I ordered the single Smash with fries. I waited for 25 minutes but felt bad giving this place 4 stars based on that. The burger was a solid smash burger, however it's not the best I've ever had. Maybe this is the best in Bakersfield? Which is what I was on the hunt for. Nonetheless, this was a great smashed burger. Also, my order came with a lot of fries! In this economy, that's a saving grace because I could have easily shared my fries with a second person if they only ordered a burger. My Single Smash Combo was $15 with fries and a can of soda. I will 100% go back for that combo. I found this place at a Rosedale Food truck lot. There was easy parking and felt like a safe spot to eat outside of, even alone at night. Very casual ambiance.

This food truck is located off of rosedale hwy. the food is super yummy and fresh. With crisp pickles and fresh made shoestring fries this is definitely a place to check out. The burger itself was smashed with crispy ends and a delicious crunch in every bite. The fries are fresh and made to order. The service was great, they helped with recommending the combo to make it a little cheaper. The ambiance is outside patio. It does have loud country music, that is not my cup of tea. All and all the food was fantastic and we will be coming back.

Honestly, I've been craving a great burger for a couple weeks and been nonstop disappointed. I came across someone saying smash burger so I came and was not disappointed. From one chef to another, their sauce, burger, buns, condiments are it. Fire. I loved my meal. Thank you so much and we will be back.

25 minute wait time it's ok nothing special. Maybe not for me just nothing that makes me want to go back. Was not busy

Triple angus burger with fries and blueberry lemonade was bomb! Everything was supersized for sure! And tasty! I would come back!
