The food was surprisingly not good like my relative and I have known it to be. Orange chicken was very, very dry. It was not enjoyable to eat, in fact neither of us ate it that evening.Service by the front desk, the young woman was friendly and polite , and service was quick by her and the cook.I was very disappointed with the dinner we got. Mine was with no egg rolls. My relative was missing one. Also, when paying nearly $13 a meal, they charge $1 each for sweet and sour sauce, the average little containers most establishments have, with the snap on lid. They also charge for ice and cups of water.I understand the economy has hit all, but where they're cutting corners seems a bit too much. I'm afraid in time it will be a negative consequence.I used to love going there.I loved their orange chicken, rather than overcooked, dry chicken that was supposed to be orange chicken but there was no sauce on it. My chowmein noodles were somewhat dry as well. Maybe it was just a bad night. I'm not sure I'll risk trying it again. These reviews are for honesty.Unfortunately, I was looking forward to dinner there, since I just returned to Rosamond from living in Nevada for 4 years.

Great local eatery with a home like feel. They have a great menu and some gluten friendly options. We go frequently, and my daughter raves over their Tempura Shrimp and noodles. I normally get the Bobba drinks and all of them are tasty. The service is always fast and friendly with a casual ambiance. Stop by, or make the drive because Thai-Garden is worth the trip!

#1. Thai. Thai Garden is an incredible family-owned and operated restaurant in Rosamond, CA, located a stone's throw away from Edwards air force base. This restaurant pays special tribute to American Veterans, the United States military and NASA with pictures, plaques and memorabilia throughout the restaurant. Thai Garden is the most patriotic American restaurant I've ever been to. Take advantage of one of the free parking spaces in the lot and enter the tiny restaurant to pick up your takeout or take a seat in the cute dining room. My dad is an indigenous Ecuadorian immigrant who was raised by a Chinese foster parent. He enlisted in the air force when he was a teenager so he could fight in the Vietnam war and I was born on an air force base in California. Together, my dad and I love 3 things, spicy food, Asian food and American Veterans/the United States military and NASA. So this place truly has it ALL! I smiled at a cute toddler playing in the corner of the restaurant, one of the adorable family members. I asked his auntie what she likes to eat the most and ordered Thai mint leaf chicken with rice and a fried egg on top. This dish is made with peppers, holy basil, chicken, garlic, palm sugar and soy sauce. Everyone here is super nice here, all are wearing masks and going out of their way to keep the place squeaky clean and safe. COVID 19 policies are A plus! While waiting for my food, I asked questions about Thai food, Thailand, and I got the story behind their huge love for the United States air force and how to cook this dish at home. My heart is warm while admiring the pictures and homage to America everywhere. This place is beyond great. I went looking for a patriotic Asian American restaurant knowing I'd find one next to a military base. Restaurants near big US military bases usually have a family member who is enlisted or fought for this country, sometimes an incredible immigration to America story and always, a heartwarming amount of appreciation for this country. Thai Garden has it all. I enjoyed my takeout at home and I recreated the dish thanks to their family recipe. My meal lasted for two meals, it was delicious! Savory, sweet and a little spicy, the mint leaf chicken is richly seasoned and tender. The whole egg is a great compliment to the chicken dish, the yolk is served a little runny, my favorite kind of egg!I found 11 mother of pearl and abalone shell candle holders and lit 11 candles (in honor of the 11 shooting victims and their families in Monterey Park) to accompany my beautiful Thai takeout and posted pictures, videos and my personal gratitude on my social media profiles. #1 on my list of 11 distinctly different Asian American restaurants that I'll be finding, trying and learning how to cook their personal favorite foods. Thai Garden. Come out and support this amazing restaurant, it's worth the drive.:) Five million stars!***** Thai Garden offers takeout, delivery and dine-in options.

We love this place! I work nearby and my husband was kind enough to pick up my depts order after we called it in. Everything came well packed, still hot and oh-so delicious. Several of my coworkers said how good their lunch was and were thankful that we choose this place for our lunch that day. Highly recommend!
