Love this place. Check out their calendar. They have many events held there through out the year. Hubby and I have had a very peaceful pic-nic there. I dream of having an hacienda just like it sometime in my life. Lol. Totally worth taking a stroll through the grounds.

A great little piece of history to have in the community. I only wish there were more signs & such around so you could learn even more!

this park has a pool and tennis courts and even a bech volleyball court. at the upper side, there is a playground for children from age 5-12 and swings for both children and babies. a baseball/ kickball area available too! there are two ars for basketball courts and the bottom section has a basketball hoop for children that is low enough for them to shoot. lots of picnic tables and benches. only downside to this park is that the playground area for the kids has no shade. on summer days, the playground equipment is hot i worry it'll burn my children's skin..

This is an interesting piece of Southern California film history, right in the middle of a tract housing development in the unincorporated part of northern Santa Clarita. Tesoro del Valle was the property of silent film star Harry Carey, one of the early stars of the Western film genre. The structures were built in the period between the 1920s and 1930s and are incredibly well-preserved. The park is well-maintained by the Los Angeles County Department of Parks and Recreation, and docent-led tours are offered Wednesdays-Sundays, 1-4 p.m. Parking is free in the Tesoro Adobe Park parking lot. There are two entrances to two different parks when you enter the lot: on the left is a private park and recreation grounds for residents of the housing development; on the right is the County-owned historic park. Just go through the open gate (see photo). A pleasant way to spend an afternoon. Here is a better link to the webpage: http://parks.lacounty.gov/wps/portal/dpr/Parks/Tesoro_Adobe_Historic_Park

Nice little historic park and museum. It is something else to check out in Valencia besides the Six Flags Amusement Park. No fee (no gift shop either), and there is a parking lot that is shared with a neighboring private park.

Awesome very well kept historical place with great staff. Peacefull, clean, enjoyable! BTW some reviews keep mentioning a park witu swings and so forth. That part does not belong to this wonderful historic place. FYI. The border is the iron fence. Beyond that is not a part of thhis place. So I was informed when I asked about what I saw beyond the fence. --- It is great to know and learn some of our local history!

Friendly staff, neat local history and the park is very well maintained. The fountain wasn't on, which I was bummed about. Overall, a great place to take a stroll and show the kids something about this small corner of southern California.
