was able to try this place out during their grand opening and was so surprised on how delicious it was! wait time wasn't too long. i ordered the spicy tofu bowl which initially looked like a little bit of food, but turned out to be a perfect portion for myself! menu is placed a bit awkward, but its no biggie. small seating area. definitely recommending to friends and family to try out!p.s their bowls are great to take home and use for leftovers!

This place is DANG GOOD!The char that they put on the chicken adds so much flavor! The teriyaki is sweet but not over powering. The yakisoba noodles are tasty and really good! The veggies are more than just broccoli and carrots, so that's a nice plus. The menu is rather humorous (if you take the time to read all of it, including the small print). Prices are reasonable! The staff are friendly and helpful!On the flipside, do NOT come here with a large group. The place is small and literally has max occupancy of 40 people, that's including the staff. There is not a lot of tables for dining. And do NOT order from here or come here thinking you're going to get food fast. They do a lot of cooking in a wok, and that takes time. As does putting that delicious char on the chicken. Keep that in mind!

The beef was good but the rice and veggies were mushy. And for an hour wait when it's been open for almost a month is still crazy. I think that was the first and last time I will go there.

First thing I noticed when we walked in was how awkward the ordering space was. The menu is uncomfortably placed up high and you are cranking your head up to look at the menu which is hard to read everything. There is a long table with seats right behind you so it's such a small space which makes it super uncomfortable for the people who are trying to eat there and the people standing waiting to order. Moving on, We apparently weren't "invited" to the opening but it didn't say a sign on the outside stating that it was by invite only. We live relatively close by so as we were driving home from shopping near by, we seen a bunch of people inside who looked like they were eating so we stopped. Entering in we got in line and just waited (in the super tight area where you order) and others were ordering and carrying on when a man came up to us asking us our name and we told him and he then asked if we were walk ins. We said yes and he politely said "oh ok! Let me ask" and he walked up to a blonde lady who was standing behind the counter "can we take walk ins?" She said "oh yeah who is it?" And he pointed at us and she looked my husband up and down then said "oh wait no I'm sorry it's by invite only today". Of course we looked at one another and left the establishment immediately. Super embarrassed and having lived in this area for over 20 years we've never been turned away because of how we "look" before. We for sure will never be returning here ever again and will of course warn our family and friends. Given they also might be brown, bald, tattooed, Pacific Islander, or just "different".

Yall I got the privilege to try this place before it officially opens on Friday and oh my goodness this place is going to be a new Visalia favorite! I got the spicy chicken teriyaki bowl with white rice and I wish I had a pic to show you but I devoured it the moment it was in my hands. The meat was juicy, tender, and perfectly seasoned, the sauce was sweet and salty, a great addition to the white rice and sautéed veggies. Service was excellent and efficient. I can't wait to try the rest of the menu !!!

Chicken was over cooked on everything dish we ordered. Dry and chewy.Took 40 minutes to cook 3 bowls and potstickers. And this was at 11:00 am. Won't go back.

Having had excellent teriyaki for years up in Seattle, this was a just average. Chicken could use a little char on it. Nice they have teriyaki sauce on the table, but the sauce itself is just ok. Very slow service, they have some work to do.

First, the positive. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The food was hot, fresh and the portions were large.The downside and why I gave a mid-level score. It took 50 minutes to receive my order, which was one teriyaki bowl and an egg roll. The restaurant was not overly busy. This time wait is not good for those on a limited lunch break. Perhaps it is because they are new and figuring things out? Still, took a long time!
