I arrived fairly early and ordered 1/2 doz pork tamales to go. Wow! They melted in our mouths.Very tasty and fresh!

The menudo was horrible. Absolutely no flavor at all. The broth was colorless and flavorless. The broth was also very grease. They used poor quality meat and you can tell. Not coming here again. $35 for just 2 to go bowls was a lot for the quality of food we were given. Wanted to try a new place here in town but will not be coming back. Go an another stop down the road, save a few bucks and get a way better quality of menudo.

I've driven past this place so many times but finally stopped in and got some food. What a great place. Interior was welcoming and clean. The woman at the counter (Ana?) was an absolute sweetheart.We had called our order in and arrived well before it was going to be ready. She walked out to the table Saturday at and brought us our bill instead of calling us up to the window. I think it's little gestures like this that tell you about a business and the people running it. The food: We carried out our order and took it home to our family. Everyone had something positive to say and all four meals tasted amazing. The burritos were big and the Chile Verde was abundant. They accept major credit cards Super pleased. We'll be back.

This is the only restaurant we order tamales from. They truly are the best! We always order a dozen cheese and jalapeño tamales with beans, rice and salsa that is enough for a family of four for about $40. If you don't live in Farmersville, it is worth the drive. Their food and friendly service will not disappoint!

Came to pick up some tamales today and the masa was brown and soggy. I also got a shrimp cocktail, and it had no flavor.

Slightly spicy Anaheim chiles  stuffed with Mexican cheese in a white sauce? Delicious! Probably the best I've ever had. We also got enchiladas which again, were out of this world delicious. Perfect rice and beans~not too lard-y or salty and obviously home made.Everything was fresh and just outstanding. You can see into the kitchen and it was equally clean, organized and professional. The restaurant was clean and tidy and the bathroom was sparkling clean. Farmersville has a true gem here!

I've heard great things about the tamales here so I sent my husband to pick up a dozen along with some rice, beans and chips and salsa. The lady who took my order was extremely friendly which I always appreciate. My husband brought our food home and was very impressed. He loved his tamales but he especially loved the rice and beans. I liked the tamales ok, but they were not deserving of all the hype that I've heard about them. I would say that they were decent. Wasn't a great fan of the rice and beans either but hubby loved them and he's far pickier than me so I'm happy when he's happy. Would I go back? Sure. I'd love to try some other menu items to compare.

Finally checked out this place with some friends for lunch. The carne asada burrito was pretty good. Very friendly staff and lunch came out fairly quick after ordering. The menu was a little pricey for the type of food/location but will definitely be back to try more items.

The food is excellent and the place is immaculate and simple Tacos were very good for salt conscious person!

First time visiting to pick up Tamales. Read online reviews before going. All I can say is they are the bomb. Best pork tamale I might have ever had. I will be back.
