I seldom do review not unless it's worse or the best.I eat here all the time because the food is very good and priced very well. The saying that "you get what you paid for", does not apply to this family owned restaurant. Because you pay less but you get better food than other similar restaurants.So it's a 5 star for me.

Excellent breakfast burrito! Potatoes were perfect and eggs were fluffy. I'll def be back.

It's a smaller sized restaurant with booths. When I was ordering food for my family we were able to modify some of the dishes and customized our orders a little. I thought they were friendly. I got a rice and bean burrito and a cheese quesadilla. I thought the service was friendly but they do close early. They do take a little while making the food as well but I think it's cause they're making it fresh. They're very limited on vegetarian options but I would definitely come back to try other things.

I came and ordered a bacon breakfast burrito with everything. It was amazing. The potatoes were cooked perfectly and there was a lot of bacon. Overall, this is the best breakfast burrito in Hanford!

The burritos are so good here. My favorite is their Chile verde burrito. Also one burrito is enough for 2 people. I have never ordered anything else here besides the Chile verde but at the other location where there is always a long line I see lots of people ordering the burrito with chicharron. They also have a sign up that they sell homemade tamales. The floors are clean and so are the tables. The ambiance could be improved but it is not bad.

I came here and ordered a carne asada burrito, a cup of chili verde and a large diet soda for my drive home. The burrito comes with carne asada, rice, refried beans, salsa and onions. It's a good size and packed with ingredients. It lacked flavor - ask for more salsa.The chili verde is spicy and full of pork. Tons tons of pork. I got there at the right time. 6-7 appeared out of no where and were in line behind me.I will come back for the chili verde but not carne asada burrito bc it lacked flavor.

Taco Tuesday group selected tacos Jaliscos for our meal today. Everybody liked their food and compared it to the original restaurant (takeout only) on E. 7th St.The service was pretty fast even though there seem to be a lot of confusion between ordering and receiving food. It was somewhat awkward but everybody got what they wanted and the job was done. We selected this branch instead of the original because of the sit down capability it contains. although we made it work, the tables were a little hard to maneuver into and out of. The restaurant, being small, also was somewhat awkward to maneuver and left the annoying need of a better situation.Their style of service well serves a takeout only restaurant but it's very lacking when it comes to sit down, making the experience less than desirable.I guess it works for them as the other branch is only takeout only and has been successful for years.For me, I'd rather dine elsewhere and reserve Jalisco for takeout.

Little place next to Chubby's. I got a carnitas burrito for $9.40. It was on the smaller size of medium, flavor was decent but this is not the fried carnitas. The beans and rice were... well... beans and rice. The meat is crock pot/shredded, not what I think of when I think carnitas with crispy fried bits. The good part was that I was in and out in under 5 minutes. They make it right there in front of you and the two ladies are sweet. I'm not going to get off of the freeway for this again. Just nothing special. Average across the board.

I only bought from the downtown location which was few years ago. I don't live in Hanford but I have family who does. The few times I purchased, I ordered burritos which were pretty good.I was told they make good tamales so I ordered some pork tamales from them for Christmas. I sent someone to pick them up & that's when I learned there are two other locations. I don't know if they will consider my suggestion. I hope they will because they just need a little tweaking to be good.First, the price at $24/dozen was good considering that they were possibly selling for up to $40/dozen other places. That's what I heard.I am guessing they may have a good reputation for making huge tamales. The one dozen I ordered was equivalent to two dozen tamales. Huge is fine, but the masa was dry, & not only that; the meat sauce was too thick.My suggestion to them is that they add more manteca/lard to the masa & broth to the meat. I don't even care if they put less masa in the tamale; just make it smoother & less dense. Bigger is not always better.This is my opinion & my suggestion for whatever it's worth.

Fast, wireless payments, friendly workers and great food! Place to sit but I took my nachos to go.
