Tacos El Dorado

I wanted to like this place. But there were several warning signs.First, no menu, no listed prices, no mention of any drinks. Mexican places are notoriously sloppy about this kind of stuff but geez, they usually make some kind of effort. And the meats they offer are carne asada, barbacoa and cabeza. I love carne asada, but the other two? ...not my favorite. And their hours. They open up about noon and shut down at 5PM? You shut down before dinner? How does that work? I tried one of each of their meats. And what did I think? Pretty much what I expected. I liked the carne asada but disliked the other two.The gal was a sweetheart and I loved that she encouraged me to wait in the warm car and she was willing to bring my order to me. But when there's a gal making killer tamales just down the street, skip this place. Go somewhere else instead.
