Taco La Villa

I happen to like this La Villa. Why? They dont skip on the meat. They've been consistent so far. Although today, they had no radishes. This is convenient for me to get to when I need my taco fix and I'm in the office.

When the late night craving kicks in, your best bet is the closest taco joint open. Since in the area, Taco La Villa it was. Haven't been to this taco joint in ages since it's out of the way from home or work so was curious if the food was giving. Drive thru was a breeze while they prepared our order: four tacos (lengua & pastor), a lengua burrito and an order of menudo. Menudo on a Friday? Most places reserve menudo on weekend menus but the gal told me they have it here daily. I don't eat menudo but I was told that theirs was good. It actually came with a mini shank in the cup and full of gelatinous tripe and a fair amount of hominy. So for those who fancy menudo on a late night or need a hangover cure on a weekday, guess you can make your way to this location in central Bako.The lengua burrito had the works. Rice and beans were warm as we cut into it and the lengua was tender and meaty. I can appreciate that they cooked the protein down as some places can be chewy and have that off-putting gamey taste. I also had two lengua tacos and two al pastor tacos with the works. The lady at the register was pleasant and did not skimp on the condiments, plenty of lemons, radishes, salsas and cilantro and onions. Most importantly, napkins to wipe the salsa from the mouth and hands as you go HAM on the grub. My rating is actually 3.5/5 for food and customer service.

I walked in to wait for some friends to have lunch here, as they said that was their favorite restaurant, as we were waiting we saw a roach crawling by the register. I told the lady there and they acted like if they knew about the roaches in their restaurant. We immediately walked out and told our friends about it.

Have been a patron here for years and I've never encountered "rude" employees. The structure has existed for decades, not in the safest of locations, but it's kept clean. The food is great. They offer more than is listed on both their drive thru and interior menus. I recommend they UPDATE those. If you DONT like spicy, make sure that you instruct them to OMIT that from your items. They seem to include hot Chili salsa/sauce as a staple - IT IS HOT!

Went thru the drive thru the lady that helped me was helpful and freindly, I got asada fries they were so good! And my wife got a chili verde quesadilla meal also really tasty I recommend a horchata hit the spot!

The service was unpleasant I wouldn't go there I would rather support a taco stand recommended by word of mouth, Taco Bell or a real Mexican dish rather than coming here

What a sorry piece of crap. Buyer beware. Ordered a carne asada burrito it was big and looked good but that was as far as it went. Most of it was nasty looking and worse tasting rice. Slimy nasty shit. I opened up the tortilla and scraped as much of the slime off that I could and ended up with a huge tortilla a lot of beef fat and some meat looking garbage. What a waste of good money for old nasty garbage. At least the salsa was good. The burrito wasn't fit for a dog to eat. Never get anything to go. If you get it there maybe you can get your money backSTAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE !!!

other taco la villa locations have better food , but the Chester location is close to where i lived. don't order the burritos because it's pack with so much rice its really a rice burrito , we have to check our food before we drive off, at least half of the time its always missing something from the order but got billed for it.

Ordered a very simple order. Torta and 2 tacos. I watched as they made order after order BEFORE mine, from people that ordered after me. Staff chuckled at the fact that I ordered no salsa on my items, so sorry for having a preference on food that I PAID for. After about 4 orders after mine, lady comes out and asks if I ordered what I ordered. That tells me they knew exactly what I ordered a long time ago, and chose not to make it. After about 45 minutes to an hour, I ask for a refund. No apologies. No acknowledgment of poor customer service, nothing. Lazy ass people.

I'm screaming y'all! No more taco Tuesday here at La villa. Tacos are now 1.25 on Tuesday's. Yeah, no thanks. This used to be a treat for us. We will gladly find another place.
