Sweet Edna's Southern Catering

Yum. Just writing about has me salivating for some BBQ ribs. The chli beans are out of this world also.

I was at the fair and hungry. I saw this truck and felt so happy! Everyone was so friendly. I loved the pulled pork nachos. I asked for no bbq sauce as I'm a weirdo and i don't like it. They were sweet about it and said of course. So good. I was tempted to try the mac but things were a bit pricey. That's inflation though. My taste buds were woot-woot-ing! We must support our family owned businesses. This is one I will def be back to.

For those who don't like reading long reviews:Eat here. Find out where they are parked, get thee there and eat. I only see one review with only one star. I'm not sure what food truck he was eating from, but my experience was 180 degrees in the other direction. Seeing as I was at the Ventura County Fair I was on a mission to eat the food I normally eschew. First stop was an artisanal corn dog, followed by corn-on-the-cob with parmesan and smoked paprika. I stopped in front of the Sweet Edna truck to get my culinary bearings when Dale came out from behind the truck with a welcoming smile and asked if I'd had anything from the truck and after telling him I was weighing my options he challenged me to find anything better than the "Big Beulah" -- tri-tip, pulled pork and a hotlink. Game on!And what a game it was!Wow!Life altering deliciousness. Each of the flavours stood on their own, while yet harmonizing in the food equivalent of a Julliard trained string quartet. Add to this a side of mac and cheese (heavenly, thank you for asking) and it was food truck love at first bite. The banana pudding, Deonté's special creation, was some of the best I have ever had. I will certainly be following these guys on Instagram to visit them in as many Ventura County locations as I can.

Had a half of pulled pork sandwich and cold beans at the fair. Best chicken, ribs, and tri-tip I've ever had! (Don't tell my mother I said that!) Really looking forward to trying this jambalaya, gumbo, and beans & rice when the weather cools down!

Dale is the mannnnnn, 15$ for a loaded pulled pork sandwich with sides, everything was 10/10 will go again and again and again

best bbq in the 805 much respect to everyone out there and there food but sweetednas food was amazing more than 5 stars forshure and shout out to the owners people delicious amazing and very professional i recommend it to everyone That Banana pudding fuck amazing on the real
