Superior Grocers

The last time I was here was for their grand opening on December 3rd. It was a mad house and over crowded Today ,I avoided all that by shopping early in the morning ( 8:15 ) . The parking lot was half full and a decent amount of shoppers but not overcrowded. Their Produce Dept is top notch. I feel this is the strong point of the store .Fresh quality and great prices. Large size Tomatoes 50¢ lb , that's insane. Most stores are $2-$2.99 lb . I couldn't resist it and bought 8 lbs. Jalapenos were 3lbs /$1. Perfect for my Jalapeno Poppers . Also,bought Shredded Carrots, Chayotes , Jicama, Limes , Apples, Mangos, Avocados and Bananas My trip here was mostly for Produce items and Rice. On their * wall of values* , Super Lucky Elephant Jasmine Rice was $4.99 / 5lb bags. That's a $1 per lb. , I couldn't resist it and bought 10 bags When I buy it in 50 lb bags , it cost more than $1 per lb. at other stores . Buying 5lb bags is more convenient as I can fill as needed into my rice dispenser Next time I'm in Tulare, I definitely stop in for more super bargain and shop the entire store*6 Feb.2023*

Went to the bakery and got a piece of cake and a breakfast, I went to pay used my debit card put in pin receipt printed out and the lady was like it didn't go through. I kinda thought we'll it didn't decline and a receipt printed a coworker from the store was behind me watching it Al go down when the man stepped in and snatched the receipt and told her it went through! He gave it toMe and she started apologizing, I don't know how to take it The lady was going to double dip, but luckily the man behind me caught it so I would be where I'm not sure if they're double dipping, and then at the end of the day, collecting the money shame on her she knew it went through thankfully another coworker caught it and corrected her immediately. Thank you Coworker for putting her in check and embarrassing her.

Today was opening day and I went about 5 PM and the parking lot was packed but inside the store it was busy but no long lines. Very clean & employees everywhere to help you and a great selection and great prices. Been going to Palace for 20 years so this will be my new go to. welcome to the community.

Way over Price, 18 eggs yesterday was over 11 dollars, While Walmart had them for $6.53 for 18 eggs , last time I buy eggs here.

Worst place to work for... they don't work with schedules and they treat their employees really bad. They hire as full time and give only 15 to 20 hours instead, well some get 40 hours in the same department. Hard work in this place does not pay off, as there is no room for promotion or raise. Overall, this is one of the worst employment ever!
