a gas station

I rarely visit this particular area of town. I went inside to pay for gas.. instead of swiping card at pump. I inquired about the cost of hot food selection which is also a very rare occurrence. (Availability was limited to a few of the typical burritos and a couple of pizza pockets) i asked for disclosure of prices (general statement) and received a vague response. The tone was implied as if I should not be asking to begin with. He stated "burrito $1.65". (I asked for cost of 2 since it's common knowledge that the majority of convenient stores typically offer a flat rate for 2) then he stated, "I'm not a calculator. Burrito is $1.65" so I'm assuming that he means each and clearly this must not be a regular transaction bc the cost should be easily remembered as a result of daily transactions. I then asked about pricing on pizza pockets.. he expressed a frustrated answer of "$3.30" and then tried to force the decision to purchase. It definitely wasn't a need to have type of thing and at this point I absolutely didn't want anything to do with these options. From there I walked to the counter to simply pay for the gas with cash and walk out. I opened my wallet and only paid for 1 gallon due to this unpleasant situation. (Filled up elsewhere) Now, the point of this review is to provide insight to others. After, I gave the exact total for 1 gallon of gas, he repeats "you tip for gas" (this individual has a heavy accent so I wasn't sure if I heard him right the first time) I didn't understand what the expectations were after the transaction was finalized. I repeated the description of my purchase only. (To clarify that is all I needed.) then he gave implication that he was demanding (NOT POLITELY ASKING) an additional tip for the gas. Considering the clear intent was to do an act that causes an unfair financial gain.. then ignorance cannot be raised in any attempt to justify the excuse. this person was too comfortable with engaging in acts of Extortion and seems like he becomes agitated when this unethical approach doesn't immediately result in the outcome.
