As a Wedding Venue owner, one of my first questions my guests ask for is a wedding planner. I have referred Brooklyn numerous times and she has been amazing. I would never recommend anyone that I don't trust. She really shows how passionate she is in doing what she loves cause she does it so well.See you again at the ranch Brooklyn!

I hired Brooklyn to help coordinate my wedding with the goal of alleviating the stress that often comes with planning such a significant event. As a small, Latina-owned business, I was excited to support her and particularly looked forward to working with someone who had experience at my venue. However, the experience did not meet my expectations. From the outset, there were a few concerns that arose regarding communication. Several members of my bridal party and family shared that some of Brooklyn's interactions came across as rude, and I personally noticed instances where her communication with vendors was less than professional. I found myself apologizing to my vendors for some of her interactions, which were at times curt and unhelpful. As the bride, hearing this feedback was concerning, especially on such an important day. It was difficult to reconcile this with the professional and approachable impression I had from our initial meetings. During our pre-wedding discussions, Brooklyn asked all the right questions, and I made sure to provide her with all the necessary details, vendor information, a timeline, and an outline of the day's events. Despite this, on the day of the wedding, I found Brooklyn's coordination to be disorganized. She seemed unsure of the schedule at times and frequently sought out my guests and bridal party to inquire about logistics, which was a bit concerning given that these responsibilities were hers to manage. There were also a few communication breakdowns with the vendors on the day. For example, the ceremony music wasn't played at the correct time, and there was some confusion around key moments of the event. As the bride, I had hoped that the wedding planner would manage these details seamlessly so I could focus on enjoying the day. Unfortunately, Brooklyn's lack of organization became apparent, and several guests mentioned feeling uncomfortable due to the confusion.While I appreciated Brooklyn's enthusiasm and her willingness to help, the lack of organization, communication, and professionalism were significant drawbacks. I had hoped for a planner who could take charge of the details so I could focus on celebrating, but unfortunately, the experience did not live up to those expectations.

I've worked with a lot of event planners as a vendor and my experience with Summerset is always top notch! They are organized, relatable, welcoming, and kind. The mood boards they provide help vendors create a cohesive look while still giving us creative freedom to make something magical.

BK and her team are an absolute pleasure. From start to finish they helped coordinate a beautiful ceremony and helped get all the needed parts and people together for a smashing success. They have incredible response time and understanding for any special needs and bring the special touches. Absolutely recommend hiring them for your special occasions!
