Sully's Chevron

Sully's is the bougie Bakersfield version of gas stations. If you're only in Bakersfield for a few hours and need a taste of everything - head to your nearest Sully's. You'll find all of Bakersfield's best here. From Smith's Bakery, to local breweries, and even artisan treats, it's a treasure trove of local goodness. I stopped by today for gas and took a moment to explore inside. Absolutely clean, from top to bottom. And the gas pumps themselves were spotless. Can't go wrong with Sully's!

Great gas station!New window squeegees made easy to clean the windshields. Lots of local treats clean bathrooms. Fresh baked treats on display. And I cannot wait until they open the bbq joint inside!

First time ever in a Sully's gas station. We came in to try Pork Chop and bubbas bbq. The place is clean and has Smith's bakery items and Sequoia sandwiches. I have wanted to try Smith's bakery, definitely not impressed. We tried two different donuts and we got the kids cookies. The cookies they liked the donuts were not good hard to beat Carlos Donuts in Tehachapi. Sully's was clean and customer service was great. Emerson helped me and he was awesome.

You can tell the minute you enter that Sully is a perfectionist. He set out to open the best looking gasoline convenience store around and sell the best gasoline--Chevron.I have never seen a cleaner, nicer, more well stocked convenience store ever--and I have seen many.The restrooms were also clean and nice. And the Bakersfield police must also agree because they came in the store to shop while I was here. (They must pay them well--this store is also expensive.)It's next door to the Hyatt--where I like to stay when traveling and across the street from 2 of my other favorite stores: Trader Joe's and Starcrooks.Even the employees were clean and pleasant.If they don't have your favorite drink here--it does not exist.They also have a nice bike lock-up outside that I used when I came off the path at Coffee Rd. This is such a great area--someone had their thinking cap on with the land use.

Sully's operates a number of very nice, professional, and clean gas stations in our town. Additionally, when you walk in their stores, it feels like you are in a fancy little health food store. You will find all kinds of interesting and healthy delights you may not find anywhere else. Kudos to their Purchasing Department!Furthermore, I want to tell you about their staff.... I always go to Sully's, be it on Ming, on Coffee/Stockdale, or on Coffee/Olive. Personnel is fantastic. It is obvious they have been fully trained in providing quality customer service. They make sure they greet you cheerfully and they actually show "care" about your inquiry, whatever it may be, even if they can't help or don't provide the serivce you're asking for.That said, I want you to know about one of their employees named "Ryean". He is so professional and friendly, he actually leaves a lasting impression. He is sharp, dedicated, and kind to people. He is exactly the type of person you want to receive help from, when you are having a bad day. I work as a career coach. So, please believe me when I praise a customer service person. I don't do it often. But when I see a shining employee, I recognize it and most importantly, I KNOW how hard they are to come by.So, next time you go to Sully's, pay attention to how they treat you and you will appreciate it because you will see that you are NOT in a standard, run-of-the-mill, ordinary gas station. When it comes to gas stations I look for two things: easy entry/exit and overall cleanliness/appearance. ThisSully's knocks both out of the park.I'm going out on a limb here as a Starbucks junkie, but Sully's have great coffee. It actually tastes like it was made by a barista who cared. Yes. They still have pots of various coffees to fill your cup, but if you've got a few extra minutes, they also offer these super cool machines that grind the beans and freshly brew the cup of your size.You're still the one... that's most convenient to work.Still the one... that's well lit andclean.Still the one... with the conciliatory, good-natured clerks; especially the overnight shift ones: Alan, Josh, Alberto, Cortney (who all deserve pay increases) that keep me coming back day after day.Still the one... telling me that I need a Sully's card, although they see me almost daily.Still the one... challenging my will power with enticing junk food offers inside.Thanks for keeping the experience here consistently good and consistently quick and clean with local favorites; Smith's Bakeries, uncle Ray, Luigi's, Sequoia Sandwich Shop.

I LOVE this place. I've been out in Bakersfield for a couple weeks now on a work assignment and have several weeks still remaining so I figured I'd get to know the local joints a little bit. I was looking for a place to pickup a couple alcoholic beverages to enjoy back at my hotel and Sully's was one of the first places that popped up when I searched liquor store. When I originally searched it said nothing about being a gas station it was simply listed as "Sully's" so when I arrived I was a little thrown off but the name was right so of course I checked it out anyways. I was not ready for all the cool stuff inside! These folks support a ton of local businesses. There's a plethora of local snacks, sandwiches, produce, products and they have an awesome selection of craft beers! They even had farm fresh eggs sourced locally at this one. This is one of the larger locations so they've actually got a full on local bakery housed inside and an in house kitchen that has been closed during the pandemic. My work takes me to the wee hours of the AM currently so the couple times I've made it here have been between 1 and 2 am. The cashier Kayla is a rockstar! I very rarely get above and beyond customer service at these hours which I totally get but Kayla is dynamite! She was very cheery, and gave 5 star customer service. I mentioned I was from out of town the first time and I'd be here for a while and she gave me a Sully's card and gave me the rundown on their stores and told me I should check em out since they all carry a little bit of different things. And she even recognized me the next time I stopped in which is pretty crazy since she probably sees countless faces everyday! Needless to say I think I found my spot for finding some cool local goodies! Thanks to Sully's for making my stay here just a bit more awesome. And high five to Kayla for being the best customer service interaction I've had in some time!

Late night Wed 3/29. Got me some Smiths cookies! Yum. So happy this Chevron is 24 hours and thus sells them all day and night. Was helped by a young Black man (wished I had gotten his name) who was awesome.

Says open 24 hours but it's NOT. The store is closed & locked. No ons is answering the locked door been waiting longer then 15 minutes when the " Back in 5 mins" sign is up and NOTHING. Just wanted a water before heading out to work. What a joke! Will be going to fast trip on white lane I guess.
